“I don’t like this guy” Winston becomes the best character in the whole show, he really grows as a character and just becomes so weird

it's clear that they didn't know what to do with Winston at first, but his character gets better as the show progresses, they also gave him a cat, so  that's bonus points

The ending of the show makes a whole lot more sense when you've been exposed to over five seasons of Winston's terrible pranks. Always way too big or way too small.

the real thing to appreciate about this show is that it’s not completely scripted. they were given a lot of freedom over their characters because the directors believed the actors knew them better. they’re all so weird and unique i love them!

the “can I get a tampon” joke is basically making fun of how women might feel in a workplace with only men, because Schmidt is the only man in his office. it’s just switching the roles to make his female coworkers belittle him and not take him seriously

The fact that Dylan didn't get to see Coach come back is HEARTBREAKING. He had such a good storyline

Takes a long time for the writers to figure out Winston, but when they finally do he's outstanding. Cece and Winston are my favorite characters towards the end of the show, and their friendship is such a big part of New Girl to me.

New girl is one of those shows that have inside jokes that just continually build on each other you simply cannot watch the first two and last two episodes and think it’s good. Also Winston is God tier.

the way dylan didn't get to see winston evolve and become the best character on the show deeply saddens me.

I agree that the seventh season was like their weakest season but it was purely like nostalgia to past episodes and tying everything together. IM SO SAD YOU DIDNT SEE COACH COME BACK OR WINSTONS CHARACTER DEVELOPMENT. Winston had a slow start in the beginning but once they developed who he was as a character he quickly becomes one of the best characters on the show. YOU should watch the first and last episode of each season OR JUST WATCH THE WHOLE THING. bcccc its amazing

"i'd be surprised if that joke was ever funny" not tran and nick's exchanges being some of the funniest moments of the entire series

Winston, Winnie the Bish, Theodore K Mullins, Prank Sinatra, my favorite character. He’s worth watching the series for IMO

Fun Fact: the actress who plays Jess and Coach went to the same highschool so they've been friends since highschool which makes their awkward but satisfying friendship just wayy better

winston becomes the best character over the seasons, he’s insanely hilarious !! i’m sad dylan didn’t get to see his development properly :(

It hurts that Dylan didn’t get to watch Winston’s storylines. He’s literally my favorite character

21:53 Babysitters club IS very very well known… it was popular pop culture in the 80s and 90s.

Who's gonna tell Dylan that Nick could never hurt Russell, he's the only man he's ever loved!

I’m realizing this first and last series is all fun and games until it’s your favorite show and you know Dylan’s never gonna watch the whole thing

my favorite Winston joke of all time is when they were in the desert and Nick threw his keys and Schmidt went to find it and Nick was like 'oh r u worried about me' and Winston just goes 'no I'm worried about him, he's a Jew in the desert and I don't want him to wander'🤣

The pink tie joke is funny, because he only works with women who harass him for being girly. When it's more regularly mainly men, who harass the only woman in the office. It's finest feminist critique and wonderful writing of Zoe.
