he won the most at this evening. not in prices, but in appreciation.

He doesn't just sing the words, he gives us 100 percent raw emotion. It's beautiful ❤️

This was an amazing raw vulnerable intimate performance. His best ever in my opinion. No fuzz needed.

Bieber is more talented than people realise 'cos the studio recordings come out as generic, over-produced pop.  The videos of him busking with a guitar when he was 12, in his house playing piano and in the studio experimenting with his voice shows his real talent.

Literally stripped down🔥🔥 created the beat in front of us. He is brilliant.♥️🙏🏻💪🏼

I’m a 66 year old woman who never watched or knew of his music until that Grammy performance. I only watched it because I found it utterly raw, spiritually elevated and frankly brilliant!!! The most powerful Grammy presence I’ve ever seen and felt!

Justin broke with his manager, the team that had represented him since childhood, that pushed him to inhuman levels, that wouldn't let him do what he felt was right, and that exploited him... It was breaking free from all that crap and being Justin, as he is... immensely creative, virtuosic, and honest as he always was

There is a spiritual depth in his voice, besides his musical talent. Very gifted

This performance was incredible. What a story arc. What a voice.

I read something that it’s a reflection of his old self (Mirror) he said the industry left him stripped down with nothing but his music and that’s why he came out in his underwear… again the mirror is a reminder of the reflection of himself… best performance by far….

I read somewhere that each act was given 90 min to rehears, he went in and did it once and was ready to go. They asked him to do it once more. He did, then left. It took all of 15 minutes.

Now I get what it means to be a Belieber 😂 Truly talented and It was an amazing performance ❤

This is honestly hands down the best vocal analysis of Yukon I’ve seen so far online.

this was a truly iconic performance. it matched his album style PERFECTLY and the stripped down energy did not miss. love that he did it all alone and no overly done stage crap to distract from his incredible voice!

This is art. Rare these days among all the garbage flooding us from all the people calling themselves artist.

The way this man lit his entire life on fire, watched it burn, then rose from the ashes with an almost primal clarity and hunger to be exactly himself in a world that has conditioned him to be anything but is both heartbreaking and awe-inspiring.

Reminds me of Christina Aguilera in her “Stripped” era.
No hype. No pretense.
Raw and imperfect.
Unapologetic.
Cathartic.

He isn’t doing it for our benefit.
He’s doing it because his soul NEEDS it to survive.

It’s incredible.

I watched bunch of videos where people react on this performance. I have to admit yours is the most insightful. Some people don't even understand why is he wearing only underwear.

This was the best take on this amazing version, I didn’t even think about the complete mind f@ck of having that mirror there, in front of all your peers. You can’t hate this , performance of the year imho, this is most people’s nightmare to be this exposed in front of your peers. Good on this young man, awesome performance!!

Bieber show with no "bling bling" costume, no shoes, no dancing, no colors, no  pyrotechnics, no back-up band or singers, just his perfect voice...a true gift from God❤
