I remember buying a rustler 4x4 for $165 with no electronics. Added my own preference to it

Purchased a Traxxas Slash Ultimate for my 17yo grandson thinking it was the "Ultimate". I was wrong. $380 dollars later it was ok. I then purchased him the brushless Ford Fiesta Rally car. Fun car, we have had a blast. However I ended up putting a Castle system in it after the stock motor/esc gave up in a very short time. Spent the extra money for the Traxxas performance/dependability and feel we did not receive full value. He drove my Arrma 4s Kraton and I haven't seen it since. Thanks for the content guys. Live and learn.

Have to agree. I am excited about the Stampede 2WD chassis redesign.

Speaking of XO 1. You guys have the best handling XO1 I’ve ever seen. Usually they swap ends they drive terrible. I would like to see a complete build video on that followed by a running video. I know you did a little bit of a running video. And you probably got into it somewhat what you did to it the part that you replaced in the tires. But I would love it if you did a that’s a proper video.👍🏼🔥. The content is great guys keep it up.

Funny thing about the new Sport transmitters is I got four of them pre-release. Rustler 2W, Slash 2W, Slash 4x4, Stampede 4x4. Cliff notes. Power system, Great. Servo Great. Overall durability, Great. Styling. You choose. Transmitter? Friggen GARBAGE! I'm. A nitro guy by design. But I started this electric channel because of my Guadalaharen connection. I did did videos on all 4.

Wanted an X01 for the longest time. Wound up with a Felony, and I'm extremely happy with it. If the X01, which is a beautiful car, improves a bit more, I'll sell and get one.

Nice informative video guys. Yes Traxxas needs to step up their engineering department. There are so many things they could do for new ideas that would blow away Aarma and others. But would we the consumer be willing to pay for it? Price would climb drastically.

I have a Traxxas XRT and it's their best creation. Traxxas was the best company, but that was 10 years ago.
Today, Traxxas produces children's toys with a plethora of issues, ranging from electronics to blatant design flaws in the chassis.

Old man here (50). I got back into RC when the original Revo came out. We raced them at the local track. The OS engine is what we ran because the traxxas stuff was usually done after a gallon or so of fuel.
Yes, traxxas needs to get back at it and needs to also treat their shops that have boots on the ground better. Without the local shops and tracks the hobby will not be the same.

Hey, you guys, great video as usual from your channel, And you guys are correct on a lot of things I think with what was said.

Honestly I feel after owning a maxx v2 i've lost complete interest in owning anything on 2s or 3s.

I'm still undecided on whether or not I want to buy a X maxx someday or a maxx slash but I guess time will tell. I feel like the maxx v2 does everything that I need it to and I really don't need anything else, though so i'm kind of conflicted and what to get next.
