Both so humble and learned from one another's mistakes. Very cool to watch.

Big difference I saw is that Kaz just dove into the build, no marking lines or any prep at all, whereas Kramer started out by putting his layout lines ending with a cleaner build. Shows how much planning helps out. The experience shows.

You guys have lit a fire under me. I'm working on my fourth selfbow. Thank you for sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm.

It's like forged in fire with bows!

I just got done making my first two bows I made a 68” hickory long bow at 40 lbs at 28” then I made a Comanche short bow that’s 58” and 73lbs at 23” that’s made from red oak then I backed it with hickory. These videos made me wanna start making bows again and I finally did it.

As an amateur traditional bow maker I laughed when you said 30 minutes timeframe…. But then I saw the power tools 😂

I know the pain of feeling your bow crack like that 😢

It took me about 5 books and one year to produce a bow from a stave. The good news is that it was a great and powerful bow! Then I cut it in half used a sleeve to make it a T/D bow. Still a great bow. It is 56# @ 28" 67 inch long hickory bow.

At least he was wearing his safety squints for the build 😂

I can totally relate, 20 seconds into a project 'Hey where did I put that pencil?'

my favorite part was sanding the power cable with the orbital :D

Kramer was a lot more nervous than brother Kaz, So make your bows while being nervous is good.

Lot of fun ! I think it's easier & more efficient work making an unbacked bendy handle longbow (D-bow) from such a piece of hickory.

Thank u for doing t his. I learnd a lot by watching. I know that i do not have the power tools as u do , it takes a little longer by hand but the end it works good. Tks

I love you guys‘s energy and I learned a lot from this video. I wish I was there to help you guys organize your shop and build shelving systems on your walls looks like you guys are not wanting to build anything attached to the walls?
