Did someone say "Disney Channel Original Movie"? It was me...I said it. I love DCOMs and I'm not even a little bit sorry. And I think a lot of you out there like these movies too because you've all been sending great suggestions for which ones to cover and I'm doing my best to deliver.

Today's film in question is "Don't Look Under the Bed". It was made in 1999 and centers around a girl who keeps getting framed by the Boogey Man until she teams up with her little brother's imaginary friend to stop said Boogey man. I feel like every time I write one of these Disney Channel synopsis I go a tiny bit more insane. Which is fine, I just find that interesting. Anyway, this is the time of year when I'm obsessed with Halloween movies and when you guys recommended I cover this I thought it was a lovely addition to getting in that spooky mood.

I hope you guys enjoy this video! Here's to everyone having a great day. Stay safe and I'll see you in the next one! Thanks for watching!

So while I was making the thumbnail this morning, I stumbled across this interview with the director on why he almost had to change the end scene. Spoiler alert: it's because of racist Disney executives. I find it ridiculous that he had to fight Disney on this but I'm very glad he did because I found the end scene really sweet. It would be nice if companies would quit letting prejudiced bullshit get in the way of making good film. Anyway, have a great day and don't take anyone's crap. Love yous guys!

How did these people think this high schooler had the money to pull these pranks? The gelatin in the pool alone would take thousands of boxes of jello mix.

I’m so glad you did this! Hands down my top DCOM film as a kid and still now as an adult. I think this is where my love of plot twists/twist endings comes from. You’ve made my day with this one 🎩

You say you don't like dolls, but you have those Funko Pops. This does actually make sense, as everyone knows a Funko Pop figure is too corporate to possess a soul, benevolent or malevolent.

Also I was terrified of this movie as a kid because i saw a “scary” clip from it and was scarred for life.

Half the movie's budget was used to egg a car.

This is my favorite DCOM and one of my top Halloween movies to watch. By the way, I always assumed Francis can see Larry because she is still a scared kid who's been fooling herself into thinking she's completely grown up.

I've seen this movie but once but this has really stuck with me until I recently looked it up, I loved it!

Just found your channel, this is a favorite of mine! DCOM acting can be hit or miss but I feel like this movie, everyone and everything is on point! From the humor, the camera work, acting. Even the woman in the bee scene, she was committed lol. Don't Look Under the Bed doesn't get talked about enough imo.

So i feel like the scene with them talking about brainwashing and the tv was supposed to be the parents being ignorant about the actual thing “brainwashing” their kids (the tv) but they just executed it poorly lol.
