hey guys so I gotta say something, you see maybe this vid would reach more people in future, so if you're reading this, all I gotta say is please read the house of if asterion atleast once by yourself, this story just touched my heart idk why but it just made me feel something, I can't really say much about the other stories, all are great but house of asterion is something I really enjoyed while making this video as I was reediting and listening again and again while editing, it just got stuck in my mind, so yeah that's all I have to say, and enjoy

If I had a nickel for every time there was a disturbing story starring some kids named Peter and Wendy...you know the rest

Little Vera is a troll before it was a thing

ROALD DAHL may have written children’s books but he could write really disturbing stories

The open window sounds hilarious like something out of an old sitcom like the Addams family

The pedestrian is interesting because Ray Bradbury based it off an actual experience he had where he was confronted by police for “acting suspicious” when really he was just taking a nightly walk, The Pedestrian later went to move Bradbury to write Fahrenheit 451, which features a character in the beginning who takes nightly walks and is also considered strange for it

We read the landlady in engish lesson and gave her a whole backstory where her son went off to war and died when he was a young man and she copes by taking in these young handsome men that remind of him so they can just slip away painlessly with a mother who loves them.

After reading too much Conan manga, the almond smelling tea was a really obvious sign..

edgar allen poe did really write a lot of good stuff... I had to read some for homework, and I really loved the mystery stories. But when I saw the tell-tale heart... unsettling, but I really loved it. It even affected my writing style. Even if it's disturbing, it was incredibly personal, almost like our opinion was the last thing keeping him from breaking completely, which I really admired from poe. So now he's one of my favorite authors.

"ITS THE BEATING OF THE HIDEOUS HEART!!... I mean, I think I hear something."

Agatha Christie's horror stories would be good, they're not as well known as her mysteries but are unsettling AF.

Bruh that vera is such a troll

Im pretty sure the first 1 inspired that episode of spongebob with the squeeky boots where mr krabs buries the boots and only he can hear the squeak and it drives him insane "the deed is done..."-mr krabs

6:56 I feel like this story would’ve been way more interesting if Vera had turned out to be a ghost only Frampton had seen.

The Landlady is super chilling. I remember reading it in middle school and it had stuck work me

Wow, I feel represented with The Pedestrian.

I loved all these stories. I thought I was the only one whe read House of Asterion. My eyes are too dodgy to read. All of these are great & you'll find yourself thinking about them years later.

9:10 I loved this short story when I read it in school, it was the first time I learned how twisted kids could be in stories (mind you this was junior high 9th grade)

I read Tell Tale Heart in 8th grade and I liked it.

When I first read the landlady it was a version with illustrations and was SO DISTURBED
