Another lost soul is about to join the Warhammer 40k community. We welcome you sister.

Here's a Fun fact about the video, Powdur: The video you just watch was made by one man. ONE MAN ALONE, made all of that.

15:14 - The Sanctioned Psyker knowingly sacrificed his life to try to save the squad.  The reason there was no audible dialogue to that point is because they speak with in helmet comms.  When he caught the plan of the baddies, he YELLED as loud as he could, "RECALL THEM IMMEDIATELY!"  That's as loud as he could make his voice go under normal human power.

He broke concentration to the thing that he was connected to... and it took him over.  He knew when he shouted the warning that the Captain (white cloak) and his Lieutenant (beaky boy) would do the merciful thing and end him fast.

Why?  Because he could be corrupted and turned into a chaosspawn, or used as a finger puppet, or blown apart to open a warp rift and create an incursion by daemons into the ship.  This is why Psykers are inherently dangerous.

inquisitor: gets possessed
astartes: yeah we don't do that here

"stuck in a tool album" made me laugh really hard. bless

Warhammer: “Everything blows, and it blows fuckin hard.”- Bricky

We welcome you sister of battle.

The orks are silly, and that’s why we love the fungus hooligans. They just want the shiny stuff and a nice big fight.

Genuinely surprised no one is recommending the Warhammer 40k Secret Level episode that recently came out. Syama Pedersen is the creator of Astartes, and he had a hand in making the 5th episode of Secret Level, titled, “And They Shall Know No Fear”. It’s another Warhammer animation like this-featuring more Space Marines, and his influence is all over it.

17:32 - And that's where I rage a bit at Games Workshop for removing his acknowledgements section.  Anyway, welcome Sister!

youtube keeps recommending me vtubers that are flowing down the warhammer 40k pipeline and I'm all for it

Fun fact: the weapons they use are called Bolters.

They fire a Red Bull can sized mini 2 stage RPG.

3:08 - Correct!  Also, Syama Pedersen, the sole creator of Astartes was involved in the making of the WH40K Secret Level episode, which is why it was soooo good.

Just to give you an idea: One time a 10 years old boy died from cancer, so his family put a picture of spiderman, his favorite hero, on his gravestone. Then Disney promptly went and sued the family for it. Games Workshop treats their fans the same way Disney does.

The rapid application of maximum force solves many problems.

Man, crazy to think this was years ago now... I remember waiting for another part to come out, good times. Alas welcome to Warhammer!

This is what the orbs say to each other:
"Who is here?"
"I have failed."
"We have all failed. The Astartes defy our touch. You must return. Break your seal."
"Impossible, we will never survive."
"You must take the alpha."
The psyker (the man in the hood) says, "Recall them immediately!" to the space marines next to him. This lapse in concentration allows the orbs to break the seal and possess him. The space marines shoot the psyker because if they even hesitated, that psyker could turn the whole ship inside out in like a second later.

Powdur: "He's in a Tool album!"
Me (to Like button): "Prepare for imminent orbital bombardment."

Demons are the physical manifestation of "bad vibes".

"Woah he's in a Tool album" 😂
