CAN YOU....JUST IMAGINE......How STAGGERING a Sight that must have been for ALL to see ! ! !

I have seen two things I cannot reconcile. I have seen a man I know to be dead & that same man risen again.

The scene when Clavius first opens the door and makes eye contact with Jesus was powerful! Holy smokes it gave me chills.

"...How can this be?"
And in that moment, his entire world changed.

This was a good christian movie from the perspective of a traditional roman agnostic.

That is such a fantastic film. MUCH better than I expected from Hollywood.

I hope Mel Gibson really flesh out the awe of people seeing Jesus alive!!!

The moment of the Roman in his heart and mind when he realized:
How is it?
What is it?
I seen Him!, I know I did!
How?
It makes sense, but it doesn't make sense
But it is
How is it?
What is it?......

We all surrender to His existence

Joseph Fiennes.  What an actor.

"Is he coming back???"

Oh yes. Yes, He is.

He has conquered death itself

The Lord has His way to disarm even the most sceptical of men.

I’m not crying…. Jesus.  King of Kings. ❤❤❤

A very underrated film

This is such a great and well acted scene.  You can see Clavius’ entire world view, system of beliefs, and loyalties collapsing as he gazes upon the risen Christ.   He now knows that Mars is only part of a system of myths.    He sees and feels Jesus’ calming presence, while confirming his deadly wounds while exhibiting no malice toward Cavius or Thomas.   Everyone in this scene is brilliant, and special nod to the actress who so effectively played Mary Magdalene.

This is a hard core roman, a real fighting man. Imagine the shock for him.

Anybody can argue or deny but Truth will change for no-one.

Blessed are those that believe in me but cannot see me.

One doesn't see it coming in the film - it has raw splendor.

i can't even fathom how glorious and terrifying this must have been for the deciples and the people. The confusion and the clarity all at the same time 😢❤
Forgive me Lord ✝️
