why isnt it just enough to unplug the well known "brown black", no 8 wire for the ECU?

Is it not just easy to just disconect a vacum line only and leave it like that? Not using a glue? If its not connected it cant open the valve in air box?

Missing out 2 pieces of seal on airbox, chance leakin out/in air?
Even thou box has wide whole intake on top?
