ABOUT THE SHOW
Painting is my way of slowing down and working through life. I share the process, the conversation, and whatever comes up along the way. I’m not a therapist. This is simply what painting does for me.

I appreciate the fact that you provide quality painting demonstrations that people can follow and learn something from without putting them behind a paywall. I also like the fast and loose impressionistic style you use. Subscribed.

Damnit, it is mesmerizing watching you turn random scribbling into something I wish was on my wall. Very satisfying watching you work and bring a scene to life, watch closely and it will not make sense, step back and it is a scene to be admired. Masterclass

The best thing that happened to me as a painter is when I finally trusted myself to be free. So I like to say that when I paint, that is when my inner child comes out to play. Learning to loosen up and not take every brush stroke so seriously has helped me in life too. I love your videos and thank you for helping us.

I really love the mix of yellow ochre and purple, I'm going to be including the mixture in my next therapy session for sure!

I only painted during fine art classes in secondary school. Since I started watching your YT, I can't wait to start off even without proper brushes. I am ready to start with anything. Thank you for inspiring me. Love from Uganda

i saw some of your shorts a little while ago and got a good vibe. the one about the neglected corner really spoke to me because i also neglect my corners. so recently i finally decided to check out the full videos and wow i really enjoy them. these are all lovely paintings and they make me feel really inspired to paint. i really like when the paintings have a shadow being cast from something off the canvas, it adds a pleasant sense of mystery.

I would be interested in watching you create ancestral Pueblo cliff dwellings made from stones & mud, cave dwellings, heard of wild horses, antelope, abandoned homesteads, etc. Free your mind the rest will follow. Love your style...

It's so fascinating that one can express feelings through a painting; it's somehow incredible, that this is possible. I mean, you can do that with music too, but it's different. Music is something you hear, which is easier for ME to grasp. But to create a version of something, that someone sees—it's like watching something through a filter of his own reality, which evokes feelings in the viewer—that's so fascinating! And who decides whether someone is more of an eyes person or an ear person?
