I love watching you paint. I have been oil painting for several years but there are a few things I struggle with and have been unable to find any answers to some of my struggles. I’m learning so much from your videos that are simple once you explain them in your easy manner. Thank you!  You are a wonderful teacher. ❤

This is a brilliant demo.  Your careful teaching is much appreciated.   Please keep doing these.

My new favorite channel on YouTube! Looking forward to watching this new video when I get home later

For anyone who finds mixing so many colours problematic, we don't have to labour so much over intermediate colors, like for the cloud shadow. We can just softly fade the white/yellow and the shadow colour together.

Excellent demo, thank you.

Fantastic, I love the way you paint! When I was a beginner, it was SO FREEING to realize that we just CAN'T paint light, whether white or yellow, and that it was not just me. And also to now know how Turner and others used their fingers to get those soft effects. As for me, no way am I going to use my fingers, even if they say a paint is non-toxic. I will continue to be paranoid and settle for less than perfect or use a gloved finger or something, LOL. No, you can't help me and you don't need to, LOL! It's only a painting, man, come on. And mine fly off the shelf. I wouldn't use my fingers even if they didn't - for nothing or no one. I have changed to using acrylics and watercolor anyways. Because those fumes, however 'odourless' they are, are still toxic. I won't even used them outdoors - why pollute the fresh air for everybody! And the groundwater. All those chemicals have to go somewhere after we wash them in the mineral spirits.
