Pretty sure the mystery quartet with the rabbit masks and coffin are a reference to stuff in the original novel. There's a scene where Pinnochio is being a petulant little shit and refusing to let the Blue Fairy treat him when he's injured. To make her point, the Fairy summons four rabbits dressed as undertakers who bring a coffin to Pinnochio's bedside and tell him that if he's going to refuse the Fairy's help he might as well climb in. This scares him into cooperating.

The novel also has the Fairy age significantly between two scenes, so the woman at 1:01 and the woman in the wheelchair might both be her

2:17 I love that this trailer treats Gepetto like some crazy character who everyone should be freaking out over. And frankly, rightfully so.

Genuinely surprised at how well made this game looks, the starting area definitely looks very Bloodborne but it becomes its own thing very quickly.

If this ends with a final boss fight against a heavily armored Geppetto on top of Monstro (a leviathan in this universe) in the middle of the sea... it'd be incredible.

Lies of P looks so damn cool. I love the enemy design.

I'm delighted to see the setting looks WAY more Italian-like compared to the previous teaser, especially the train station they show at the beginning. Also the man in red is most likely Mangiafuoco, can't wait to see what they do with the character

All of the weapons look and feel weighty and powerful. That's so important in these types of games. I'm so hyped for this now.

I want there to be an ending where Pinocchio has Geppetto up by his throat, ready to impale him, and Geppetto's like "No...My Son...Why are you doing this...?" And Pinocchio just stares him dead in the eye and goes "...There are no strings on me."

I wonder if the idea is that he starts off very strong, and as he progresses he actually loses power. Becoming more human like. This also seems to equate gepetto to Frankenstein. I’m interested in seeing how the narrative and gameplay flesh out.

It's honestly unbelievable how good this game looks and sounds. Voice acting, sound and visual design, gameplay, all nuts.
Hopefully it plays as good as it looks. Hype at full levels over here😤

“Now you be a good-a boy Pinninchio and don’t you-a lie”
“I promise I will never hurt you”
“OUCH-A”

Fromsoft: Doesnt make bloodborn 2

Pinocchio: Fine, ill do it myself

I loved when the announcement trailor came out a lot of people inclusing me kinda laughed and were like "Pinocchio souls like game? Whaaaa?" But the trailer had us
👁👄👁

The setting reminds me an awful lot of Pleasure Island, or as it was called in the original Pinocchio book, the Land of Toys. Makes you wonder if they'll adapt "donkey fever" as a status effect of some sort.

The Blue Fairy, Jimminy Cricket, Gepetto, they're all there XD

Pinocchio: Real Boys Die Twice: The Old Hunters.

You've seen bug souls, You Experienced Anime souls, You delved into Demon souls, And Mastered combat in ninja souls, You took on Cuthulu Souls, And reconstructed the ring of souls, Now witness The fearsome.... Steam punk Souls.

this looks like if Pinocchio was Nero from dmc5 put into the world of bloodborne

Truly the game that saved the show!

Yeah and I'm guessing you're going to have to fight all four of them and maybe they're coming after you because this game is about your lies after all lies of P

Bloodborne inspo aside, this game is giving me big House Of The Dead vibes too. Gepetto’s definitely coming across a little Curien like. I’m all for it!!!
