I do like how if you lose to a boss your collection of essences will be at the boss's front door when you get back to them.

I really like the detail of Pinnochio constantly twitching when standing still. It's like his body is made of cogs that are constantly moving him from the inside making him feel like a puppet despite looking human.

When that song "Feel" came on, chat just started crying emojied for 3 minutes straight. Finally the atmosphere caught up to Max and he even had a brief pause. That was a great experience.

Max’s comment about the developers going all in on fairy tales and giving them a souls like twist if possible would be pretty cool. But first, fingers crossed this game does really well in order for that chance to even happen.

I really like how they made blade sharpening a core game play mechanic. It feels similar to a monster hunter sharpening trait but fully Pinocchiobornes original

The worst part of this demo was that it wasn’t the full game.  I loved it.

When Max put on the feel record 2:44:48 and Max paused at the same time I felt like I did, this games atmosphere is immersive as heck. Wow this game really is gonna be something incredible.

Played & finished the demo myself. When the demo ended, my three exact words were, "I NEED MORE." I can't wait for September

02:44:52 It was this moment that really sold the game for me. It is such a small touch, but it really made me appreciate this is more than just another soulslike. I haven't been interested in playing other Soulslike, but there is something about Lies of P that makes me believe this game wants to be more than just another soulslike. So I hope the full game is just as high quality & exciting as the demo. Excited to play it soon!!

It’s hilarious how close Max’s commentary was to my own feelings.  After about the 5 min mark, I was like “Holy crap.  This is the best soulsbourne game I’ve ever played.”   The combat is super responsive and tight while the atmosphere is just drenched in unfound lore.  I have high hopes for this game.

I’ve never watched your channel before, but you’re maybe the 5th youtuber I’ve watched play this demo. You’re the only one to actually absorb the tutorial info, not just read it aloud and proceed to ignore it all. You’re the only one to actually put effort into learning the mechanics, and unsurprisingly you seemed to enjoy the game much more. I’m really looking forward to this game even more thanks to you.

Was better than I thought it was going to be, I was honestly expecting a like 5-6/10 experience but the demo raised my expectations.

Weirdly, I think my favorite part about this demo is just how long it is and how much you can do for such a "small" piece of the game. Maybe I'm just used to short-and-sweet demos, but there were a couple points where I thought, "This is where it'll cut off to tease you, right?", only to be surprised that it just kept going. Such an enjoyable (and appropriately difficult) ride the whole way through; I can't wait for the full release!

It took me so long to realize that Venigni is supposed to be a homage to the actor Roberto Benigni who played Pinocchio in one of his movies. Really loving the little touches that the developers are sprinkling here and there with this.

Also, for who is wondering, -"gni" is supposed to be pronounced as "-ñi" with the "g" silent and the same sound on the "n" as for "piñata".

This is basically my first 'soulslike' game and I'm actually loving it. It reminds me of the 16-bit era games when the games were unforgivingly hard and it took you like 10-20 tries just to beat a stage or boss. It took me almost two hours to beat that first boss though! But I still had fun just trying to beat him! I'm definitely getting this when it comes out, I'm actually more hyped for this than FF16 (and that demo was great too!)

I, like max, played the FF16 demo and this back to back and holy shit playing the two best demos in years like that has filled my with huge hype for the next few months.

Every since the first trailer I've been in love with this game, and having played them demo I can happily say this has the potential to be one of the best soulslike games.

So many good games coming out. We've been lacking quality GAMEPLAY for a while, it's about damn time.

I like the fact that the demo runs extremely well. The game is well optimized unlike some AAA tittles. Hope the rest of the game performs the same.

This game without a doubt is gonna be amazing. Hearing that song play after that side quest is an experience that just stuns you.
