I spent days exploring deep into the desert canyons of America searching for ancient ruins when I came across something I still can’t fully explain.
High above the canyon floor, ancient stone structures were built directly into the cliffs in places that seem almost impossible to reach. To get closer, I climbed the massive sandstone walls following ancient handholds and tiny Moki steps carved directly into the rock.
What I found above completely changed the way I looked at this place.
