Today we're playing through a completely Super Mario Odyssey but the game has been reimagined with custom powerups, abilities and a full skill tree with level ups and everything. This is by far one of the highest effort Super Mario Odyssey projects we've ever done so please consider subscribing!

The amount of effort and scope creep this project had is indescribable, but it turned out so good! Fir's reaction to seeing the Ability Tree for the first time will be one of my proudest moments for quite a long time

amethyst is just gonna make smo2 singlehandedly at this point

The amount of cappy reactions to the whacky things fir did. There is so much thought and effort put into this mod and it's filling me with awe every time fir discovers something new

Amethyst WAY outdid herself this time, this is incredible!

"Amethyst makes Fir play a new custom game-changing mod" is my new favorite series on this channel

I love that cappy has so many lines, just a quirky little dude.

The amount of quality and effort in these mods is insane. It's great to see how much better SMO mods have gotten. I can't wait to see how much better these can even get.

Fir's channel description is "Stupid Nintendo videos with paper and cardboard" but they haven't been any videos with paper or cardboard in years :(

the missions and keys and such are such a perfect addition to this to give some incentive and challenge for completing everything. they really help amplify the feeling that youre becoming a god who can just do whatever the heck you want.

You stole the entire inverted pyramid. It appears that Vector has been training you

Amethyst is a mad scientist and you cannot prove me wrong

These abilities are the type of stuff I give the imaginary invisible parkour guy that runs outside the window of my car.

Please tell me someone gets what I'm talking about...

1:09 Not seeing or hearing from Amethyst for 3 months is a daunting sign of what’s in store 😰

I'm 7 minutes into the video and I feel the need to comment: Amethyst, you are absolutely BRILLIANT! Thank you so much for your effort!

This is best quality smo thing ever created. That person in chat that said amythest make a game might be onto something.
Makes sense amythest could do it though considering the scope oif her past achievements and the challenge/mission mode project scale.

we're just gonna make SMO2 if nintendo isn't

it's a small detail but i really like that there's so much custom dialogue for stealing certain objects. a lot of work and passion went into this project and it definitely shows! great job amethyst <333

I saw somebody in chat at one point say “AMYTHEST MAKE A GAME” and I couldn’t agree more. She’s obviously got the skills to do so, and I can’t imaging what wacky antics she could get up to when not being actively held back by Nintendos creations
