Hey friends, sorry about the reupload, MLB copyright claimed the video for some of the game footage I used.
I’ve trimmed the parts they had issue with, so hopefully this one will stay up! 🤞

I love stories where the adults are actually understanding, supportive and decent.

What a legend. I love the school teacher and teammates who helped him believe he could achieve anything he wanted.

Pitched against Jimmy a couple times in high school and summer league baseball in Flint. We were all amazed as kids. He was also a pretty good hitter.

I played bball against a guy with no left hand and got real shock and life lesson I thought it would be easy. Didn’t take me long to realise he mastered running rings around players that thought they could exploit his apparent disability

My son and I had the special pleasure of seeing Jim pitch his first game for the California Angels at Anaheim Stadium

Feel free to post at a third time. It’s worth it. I was a young man when Abbott accomplished this and yet I’m just as amazed as the day it happened. Great video.

That is a teacher I wish I had.

You sound like Clark Titor, used to watch those horror story videos all the time back in the lockdown days. If you're him, you narrated those stories very well. I really enjoyed them and it's kinda sad they're all unlisted now
