A slow living and cottagecore haven to soothe your days: may peace and gentleness find your heart in this video. 🌸
Today I invite you to slow down with me and appreciate the beauty hidden in the simple things of life. There is a very special charm in watching homemade bread rise and fill the home with the warm scent of coziness.
With love, I wrote down a new bread recipe in my notebook. My heart was full of hope and joy to finally test my bread maker!
While it patiently took care of kneading the dough so it could rise in its own time, the house filled with warmth. I took advantage of this sweet wait to bring spring inside: I chose a special floral fabric to start a new sewing project, a charming bag dispenser. 🌷
🌿 In the garden, the earth gifted us fresh green onions and cherry tomatoes, adding life and flavor to our dinner.
🌙 And when the night gently settled in, I made a delicious dinner, and afterward, we sat on the porch to chat and take in the serenity of the evening.
Pour yourself a cup of fragrant tea, pull up a chair, and come share this quiet moment with me. 🍵

🍞 Homemade Bread Recipe:
Quick Cycle Bread in the Bread Maker
(using the bread machine measuring cups/spoons)
230 ml water
1 tsp salt
3 tbsp sugar
3 tbsp oil
3 cups flour (or 435 g)
2 + ½ tsp yeast
Setting: Quick cycle, option 4, light crust, 1 kg.
💡 A tip from the heart: I made this bread in the machine, but it can also be made completely by hand:
Mix warm water, sugar, and yeast. Let it rest for 5–10 minutes. Then add the oil and salt, and gradually incorporate the flour. Knead for about 8–10 minutes until you have a smooth, soft dough.
First rise: Cover and let rest in a warm place for about 40–60 minutes, or until doubled in size.
Shape: Punch down the dough gently, shape your loaf, and place it in a greased pan.
Second rise: Cover again and let rise for about 30–45 minutes until visibly puffy.
Bake: Bake in a preheated oven at 180°C (350°F) for about 25–35 minutes, until golden brown.
💌 A little note:
