How serendipitous! I visited that thrift shop on Northampton about three years ago. I was in Amherst with my daughter for about a week. She went to class and I explored all the thrift stores and diners. Loved every moment! Your studio is delightful- full of your special things and so at the ready to sew and create. I know that joy, too, as I have a studio for sewing- mostly slow stitching. Thank you for the idea of folding up the bottom of the sewing machine cover. I did exactly that and now it's a better fit for my Featherweight. PS -We collect many of the same things-especially vintage sewing baskets! 🥰🥰🥰

I’m glad you used the original stool fabric. The trim goes better with it than with the one you bought. That remnant could be used for a pillow.
