Mika pissed me TF off. How desperate do you need to be to want to be with a racist? Why even make a fuss about your ethnicity and race. I know it's LIB, but as a black person that usually not the case. I would introduce myself as a black woman immediately, so there are no suprises. Especially in predominately white country that used to have a far-right government. And she is so pretty too? WTF is going on? I think living in a predominately white country has done a real number on some of us.
🤣Mika didn't want to tell people her last name, didn't want to say where she was from, and spent half her time acting like her own background was classified information. She wanted the men to make assumptions that she was white rather than know the truth. A man says he can't imagine loving someone of your race and your response is "where do I register for gifts?" Oh, okay. The problem isn't just what was said. The problem is hearing it, processing it, and deciding it's actually fiancé material. That's a level of selective hearing that belongs in medical journals. The truly breathtaking part is hearing something like that and deciding you've found your soulmate
1. Jurrian displayed blatant ignorance and racism by assuming that someone speaking perfect Dutch with Mika’s accent could only be a white Dutch woman. 2. Being honest and direct does not mean being rude or tactless. I always question the level of emotional intelligence or intellectual laziness of those "honest and direct" people. Jurrian could have expressed his desire to procreate only with white Dutch women differently. 3. Given the diversity of skin tones, body types, and phenotypes among people of African descent, excluding a specific origin (African) or rejecting a particular physical appearance—specifically that of being "fully Black" (or "tinted")—reveals Jurrian’s prejudices and preconceived notions. 4. Since when does a physical preference entail the total exclusion of other options on a show like Love Is Blind? 5. Could some women stop being desperate for marriage?
I’m Dutch Caribbean and I have family in the Netherlands. I don’t want to generalize but let’s just say I’m not surprised at the extra racist comments this season… 😫🫣
If a woman is OK with a man giving up the commitment he made when he adopted the cat. She shouldn’t be surprised when he does the same with all of his commitments. Animals are not objects. They require commitment and dedication. If he can’t do that for his pets, he will never do it for you.
Sis, I’ve been waiting on your commentary because my eye got to twitching in rage and disappointment over that racist comment. Then the utter disbelief of her saying yes to this man. Chiiiiiiiile, she’s in for turmoil
