Just a note for non-Norwegians: There are so many bad translations in this documentary. Snorre did not say that the police planted bugs, but that he thought they did. Varg didn't say "Everybody believes journalists", but "never trust a journalist." The journalist didn't say "We chose to publish the story because it was all correct", but "because so much of it turned out to be correct", etc.

there was day when MTV would play Black Metal... Wow.

Basically the police detective confirmed that the journalist who interviewed Varg also gave his name and the address to the police. From 11:08  - "This was all Tonder's information...It was all OK and legal". That Tonder guy is lying when he says he protected his source. Never thought I'd agree with Varg on something but here we are :-)
