As far as I can tell, the light source has everything to do with red algae. In over 50 years of keeping multiple freshwater aquariums, I never saw red algae until about 6 years ago, when I converted from fluorescent bulbs to LED's.

Another thing you can do is to dose  bacteria for competing with cyano. It works very well.

Bro this is confusing  some people say don't feed dry food cuse cyano bacteria some people say don't feed frozen 🙄 get rid of my cyano please lol😂

Hitchhiker scallops, and other “is this bad for my tank” info would be amazing, please!

This gives me so much hope of beating my cyano woes. Thank you, March.❤

For clean sand you can also use fish such as sand sifting gobies (provided your tank isn't too small). Sand sleeping wrasse also helps although they often sleep in the same spot🤔

miss your video! greatttt info thankyouu. peace from Malaysia

My Phosphate tested out of range very high .Nitrates were 14.8 ppm a little high but I know that they need to come down .

I feed the exact mysis shrimp you showed and never had algae or high phosphate issues. However, TDO pellets spike my phosphates big time. Per your recommendation, I ordered Vitalis Marine Pellets. What’s the difference with their platinum pellets?

What is that green carpet on the left side of Your tank? Looks very nice

Mine has taken over half of my tank haha. Added another power head earlier.

You should try Tropic Marin Cyo-Control, it's more natural 👍

Tropic Marin cyo-control and say bye-bye to cyano in a couple days without screwing with the sand bed biome ;)

I wish I would have seen this year's ago when I had my 120g, cyano was my worst enemy. looking back, Prob  phosphate issue if I had to guess .

Hey that mystery coral you had from Australia, was it a birdsnest (seriatopora Dendritica)?

can't believe you didnt make your pumps go up to 11. :D

200 dolares a luminária igual a Spectra V3.... Mesmo fabricante, só muda o nome.

It wont vacuum up, falls back down and spreads more

How often do you get bad characters on your corals with a new shipment?

omeone please tell me what that coral is to the bottom right side???
