The amount of early season injuires across the league seems high to me.

All My Rangers needed a early plot twist to make things interesting.

I hope it's nothing too serious and he has a quick recovery.

This is NOT good dude… older fans will remember when Richter tore his knee and busted his ass to come back, then like 4 games later made the EXACT SAME PLAY, his skate hit the post JUST like Igor did tonight, and richter re-tore his MCL or ACL whatever it was, and he missed a lot of time again… I remember seeing him crying as they helped him off the ice because he missed so much time and worked so hard in rehab just to immediately get hurt again… this does not look good man

I'm a caps fan that was at the game and there was a rangers fan sitting next to me. I love goalies across the league and told him I was excited to watch him play 😭 I really hope he recovers quickly. that was hard to watch

The knicks sacrificed every other NY superstar/star for the championship, Dart, Judge, Igor

as a caps fan i have never been so stressed for a non-caps team during a caps game :(( hate to see injury on anyone but esp a goalie like that. hoping he makes a quick recovery

The idea that the Rangers can just go out and get a half ways decent goalie to replace Shesterkin is pretty insulting to Stan Bowman, who hasn't been able to do it in Edmonton for multiple seasons.  I mean, in order to believe that, you'd have to believe Stan isn't good at his job, and I for one won't hear of it.

Devils fan here with wishes of quick recovery to Igor . He is one of the game’s greatest .

Even as a Devils fan, I hope Igor recovers soon, he doesn't deserve that at all

Im a flyers fan but shesterkin will always be one of my favorite players, the clip of the injury was hard to watch

The way Shesterkin immediately pounded the ice signaled to me that he "knew"… 🙏 Never want to see guys go down like that. Hopefully, the injury isn't too serious.

To me, looks like an ankle with how he wasn't able to bear weight. Hope its not serious. I genuinely love watching Igor play. I just rarely get to because I'm on the west coast.
