First extensive use of the Stihl MSA 220 TC-O for a task it is definitely not built for!
Is it heavy? Yes.
Is it still useable even for fine pruning where a 2511/151 or Silky's would be the norm? Also yes.
The two major complaints about the new Stihl 220T is the power button situation and the unbearable weight - two fallacies proven wrong right here!
Thought I'd see how 'low' it could go by doing some small British hedge reducing with it. I don't recommend a saw of this weight for this kind of job, but it's very useable.
The second complaint was the power on/off button being a danger in time sensitive situations; also not true - as shown and demonstrated, if you understand how the tool works and you hold it how you should, you can leave that button alone indefinitely and cut away on demand.
Watch and see!
