It looks like there's room on the front of the battery saw to put a muffler-shaped speaker which could play chainsaw sounds. I'm just sayin'!

I do a great deal of light chainsaw work.
Orchard tree trimming, pollards, and coppice work.
The battery saw I have for that work does the job. It is slower in the bigger wood. But for the majority of my cuts, I'm cutting less than 6 inch diameter wood. And the super low maintenance for the battery saw is impressive.
As with all tools, they are improving, and each has good/bad points.

I’ve been running Husqvarna chainsaws for 30 years, I love them. I bought the Husqvarna 225I just to try it out, I like it. I only wish I would’ve bought a bigger one. It will not replace my fuel chainsaw, but it certainly has a place in my lineup.

Interesting display of their new electric saw, thank you for sharing. The electric saw technology has come a long way. Good video 👍

They do have their place, thats for sure.

Love that he bought the 550:)

Every tool has its place in the toolbox. 😉👍

Wrong sound…wrong smells. Dang it Mr.Chris, it should take a lot longer to be an old guy.

I have the model down from that one, mine is the 542i XP and I absolutely love it! It exceeded all my expectations in all aspects and in every way. I am keeping one 2stroke saw mostly for old times sake but honestly I will prob never use it. I use chainsaws for firewood, yard work and the occasional clearing of a tree down on the road or track. The 542i has more than enough grunt and battery life for all these tasks. Love it.

Nice demo everyone. I have a battery pole saw and a 14” battery rear handle saw. Not Husky, not pro saw quality. They have their place but not every place. Handy for small scale trimming and riding around in the Ranger in the woods. Torque is impressive. I know when to go get a gas saw for the real work though. GNI

G’morning Chris. Looks like a GREAT producer of carnage and schmutz !! Most good camera runner at the small shows :)  GoodNightIrene

Really like that for home owner type use. Got three saws loaded for the attack of the locust trees. Hate the sound of it

I live on a farm in Australia with a lot of sugar gum and red gum. We use our own wood for heating. I bought an Ego 16" a couple of years ago and haven't used my smaller Stihl since. I love this saw. My kids got me the Ego 20" commercial for Xmas. It may spell the end of my use of petrol saws entirely 😮. These things are just so easy and convenient.

Funny exchange at the end!

Awesome video 😀

I have a Milwaukee electric saw at the time. It was the biggest one. It's a nice tool to have. I was able to cut a full face cord of drywood for two batteries when it was new. I find it to be less intrusive easy on the hands. Quieter in noise. Perfect. Saw for woodhounding off the curbs in the city or village. It doesn't draw the attention that a gas engine would bring.

I know there are certain tree service guys that will love these to work in specific neighborhoods where the residents do not like noise or even allow them to start earlier in the day. Also, great tool for utilities. I was not allowed to carry gasoline in my utility truck.

Nice video😊

Man, that seems like a nice saw. My two gas Huskies don't like seeing that 🤣✌

I've got a Stihl 220 CB battery saw. It's great at limbing, but not at bucking bigger stuff. You can't push it like a gas saw if you're used to that. But I have gas saws too and I much prefer them with bigger wood. Battery saws are great for hauling around with you. No chance of gas spillage in your vehicle
