The STIHL GTA 30 cordless garden pruner is a strong, adaptable tool designed to make a wide range of garden tasks easier. Whether you’re tidying up shrubs and branches, cutting down garden waste, or handling smaller DIY jobs, it delivers reliable performance with minimal effort.
It’s built for comfort and straightforward use, featuring rubberised, non-slip handles that give you a secure grip, even during longer sessions. The 15 cm guide bar offers greater reach than the GTA 26’s 10 cm version, making it better suited for tackling larger pruning work. Despite the longer bar and extra power, the tool stays lightweight at just 1.9 kg, so it’s easy to control and suitable for users of all experience levels.
For clean, efficient cutting, the GTA 30 runs a ¼” PM3 chain that delivers low vibration and strong cutting ability. Adjusting the chain tension is quick and user-friendly thanks to an innovative spring-loaded system beneath the sprocket cover—just fold out the handle and twist the cover 90 degrees for automatic tensioning. Lubricating the chain is simple too: apply oil directly onto the chain when needed.
