Why did I go for a PDK and not a manual ? Why did I not buy a 911 ? Are the seat comfortable ? Isn't the roof a faf ?

I've tried to like 911, driven a few, they never 'clicked' with me, a mid engined 718 makes much more engineering sense, and by damn that one of yours looks great, love the early seat mod...spot on!!

Outstanding spec. Well deserved, Pete. I have a Cayman 718 GTS PDK, and the 4L engine never gets old. Wonderful vehicle, and who knows how much longer they will be with us.

Lovely car. My wife has the GTS 4.0. I’m with you on PDK, once you’ve tried it I wouldn’t go back. My bike is a different matter though, I still change manually when pushing on even though they have quickshifters.

Love the Spyder but as we live in Scotland we need the standard electric roof 😉

Congatulations! It's a stunning car and no way inferior to a 911. PDK? This is a classic example of why saving the manual is futile. Few people will actually walk the the talk when it comes time to make the decision of which gearbox to choose.
