I live in Perth and I've never wanted to go to Rottnest so bad, but you both made me want to go and visit now! Sometimes we as humans don't appreciate what we have around us until it's shown to us in the correct way. Great video guys & would love to have you back in Perth one day ❤

Perth has alot of tropical fish brought down by the Leewin current from the tropics. WA is the only part of the world where this happens.

Hubby and l came to Perth from the Uk in the early 80s, it was a much quieter place back then. By the the late 90s when we had children and they were at school it was getting difficult to get accommodation on Rottnest in school holidays. So my friend and I would pull our children out of school for a week in the first term and head over for a holiday. We had 9 kids between us and they had a ball roaming free on their bikes all day.

I loved Rottnest Island back in 2023, it was HOT in November! Had to stop for a big snake crossing the road near the lighthouse- so epic! Thanks for helping me relive those memories :-)

Spent many family holidays at Rottnest as a kid. Did the same with our own kids when they came along. Day trips are good - but you need to spend at least 2 or 3 days there to really set your body clock to 'Rotto Time'. Also there is nothing better than watching the last ferry of the day leave - and feeling like the place is all yours. Brilliant !!!!

Being a Perth local, Rottnest is one of my happy places, it's a stunning and peaceful place! We love staying there for a few nights over the summer each year.

You guys are so fun. We used to go over to Rotto every year when I was a kid. Loving seeing this. Man, it's been a while. But seriously, I would definitely get an electric bike cos it's hard yakka riding around the island. Really enjoying that I found your YT channel.

I stayed in a cottage on Rottnest many years ago. The Quokkas would come in for a feed. I snuck them some bread. Cute little fellas.

Glen, you crack me up. It’s “ Quokka” ( rhymes with Rocker), …not “ quacker “. Glad you both had so much fun on Rotto. As a kid I spent ALL summer there every year. Back when it was cheap !
