A quick note from the filmmakers:

The Gambler was made completely independently.

The guy in the boat at the end had a few seconds to duck down, he just stood still.

If you're on fire, just jump into the huge lake in front of you, my child.

Shit gambler, shit hitmen..🤣
Mad short movie 👌👌👌

He beat the odds, but couldn't resist one more roll of the dice...

Moral :-Overconfidence get you killed .

Even the boat died...

good luck to detectives working on this case

That's something Roald Dahl could have written, Tales of the unexepected. Really enjoyed that.

Not a casino in sight.

Always pay yer debts....

Intriguing
Gambler gets himself in a mess. Miraculously almost gets out of it-then complete disaster hits again.

This is a great short film! This will make multiple times I’ve watched it.

If the enforcer dude thought it through, he could've just beat up the gambler at the fort, taking back the gun, finish the job. He didn't need the gambler's help to get the heavy oil drum to the boat. Just carry the engine to the drum and fill it! 👍

The editing in this is first class and should be studied like a textbook by those hoping to produce their own content. Well done.

why did the guy stand up , he really had a chance if  jumped in the water or even laid down in the boat. the ending pissed me off! So basic, "you don't EVER let up, not even a little bit, till you survive"!

Just based on my 61 years of knowing great film writing when i watch it, the person or people responsible for this excellent piece of work, will have excellent careers.

It had potential. It's really hard to write a mind blowing ending that satisfies the audience. The Gambler literally just standing there waiting to get shot was not a gamble at all to me. If he used the body as a shield while the hitman was burning (good touch, by the way) but still trying to get the shot would have at least been satisfying as the Gambler realized that the hitman destroyed the motor with a shot. Fast forward as time passes. We see the charred bones of the two hitmen and a seagull cooking, and the gambler throwing the gun as it's out of bullets. The end.

We will just pour the gas into your hands, and then you can slowly fill the tank and afterwords, no need to wash your hands off. Dont bother looking for any cup or anything like the desk drawer that you could remove and use to fill with gas and then pour it in the tank. Nor should you think about just pouring most of the gas out of the tank except the small bit that the boat will need before you move it.

Very interesting and well acted short. Much better than most of the short films on YouTube! Thanks...
