Yay!!! Vessel my most beloved!!! "Ode To Sleep" is one of my favorite songs of all time, so you know I pressed play at record speed. It still boggles my mind that Tyler basically took two separate songs, representing night and day, and turned it into one seemless piece of art that works so beautifully together; That's the mark of true artist, if you ask me. And as always, you guys have such amazing insight to add, and I love it! Also: This video is notorious for getting blocked, so I'm really happy you were still able to make it work!

Some fun facts for you: The hoodie Tyler is wearing has been a regular part of the band's wardrobe for a long time, and is where the name for the Skeleton Clique came from. And the name for the song apparently came from fans throwing name ideas into a hat during one of their early concerts. We've been a huge part of their story pretty much from the beginning: "We're Twenty One Pilots, and so are you!"

The first part of it was one of the first times they played outside of Ohio - Tyler thought they needed to put on costumes so people would remember them - Josh picked the guerrilla suit but it was too hot so that didnt stay - but the skeleton Tyler chose still remains

It's SO fun to see you two become obsessed with these two like we are!!!  It's comforting to me to see others love them like i do because my family rolls their eyes when I bring them up and say I'm too obsessed. But watching reactors fall for them like I have helps me to know I'm not "obsessed" with them unfoundedly ( if thats even a word) that there is GOOD reason for my adoration for these two.  They're just soooo damn good.....so relatable and amazing humans in general!  Great reaction as always.  This is such a fun ride😉😉😉🤪❤️|-/

The metaphor of fire is a recurring theme throughout their music, and there's a duality to it. Sometimes it represents destruction, other times it's a positive thing like you describe. In most cases you could insert either one and get 2 different meanings out of the same verse!

They're doing throwbacks and referencing other songs all throughout their discography. I love it.

Vessel is a clean second favorite album of theirs, but im very excited for yall to get to Trench. The songs are less emotionally devastating (for the most part), but are masterfully constructed and layered. Definitely them at their prime.

Josh WAS in a gorilla suit and he said he grossly underestimated how hot it would be to drum in it and had to take it off mid song. xD

I became a fan since 2014 and 'Ode to Sleep' is my most favorite in their discography (until that certain song from Breach). This song just speaks to my soul in a way I can't really explain why, I just know it's my favorite.

Mark (Reel Bear Media) is the narrator in this one, he is their videographer and creative director, has been around since the beginning, and is the unofficial 3rd pilot. We love Mark.

Cold / darkness / nighttime vs. warmth / sunlight / morning is a continuous theme. There will be many many more callback references throughout the rest of their discography. They grow in their abilities and as humans, they try new things, but they don't change who they are. This album and their most recent album Breach are both tied for my favorites (15 yrs apart).

My starter album when I was in 9th grade. Always special to me. My 2nd concert ever was seeing them.
