Doctor Who The War Between The Land and The Sea episode 3 review of the Disney BBC program designed to tell you you're a horrible person. Yet the message in this one is funny because all of their favourite people are wrong, while the villains have a point. The show clearly doesn't expect anyone to have a counter argument and this has led them to ever teset their own arguments. Like why would you bother worrying about how you are going to defend yourself from a violent enemy in war, why do we need business and money. Or is there anything strange about getting with a fish? The quality of writing in this is what I'd expect with none of it being planned out at all, or tested to see if it bears any semblance to reality. But how long can the BBC keep doing this before someone forces change, or at least employ a person to fact check them. But what did you think of what you saw? Let me know your thoughts down below and as always, thanks for watching :)

" IF you're going to make your show about the environment you should at least find out about it first" sums up so many of the problems ProgresSnots create.

I’d rather watch this than the actual programme

I cant believe we live in a world where the reviews are better than the show itself. This was posted 37s ago and I got hyped haha.

They like to blame western countries for the pollution in these types of shows, but they will never admit the world's major pollutants makers are india and China.

"He's overheard Victoria's secret"

Proper belly laugh from that one.

Without Disparu I’d lose my sanity watching ts

Disney hating humans is fine.  It's not as if humans don't hate Disney.

"Tell me why we should live like this for one day longer." BECAUSE YOU SHOULD"VE SAID SOMETHING SOONER! We didn't know you existed.

This show is a good argument for throwing our car batteries in the ocean.

This show sounds like Adolescence. A bunch of know-it-all "writers" and "creatives" who, in fact, know nothing about what they're preaching and hoping it'll scare the uninformed normies and plebs enough into making them think that this garbage they're consuming is inspiring and clever.

Hahaha they quoted Bowie!!??, a man who despises the bbc for its corruption even back in the 80s, honestly they have no shame.

"the species that came before us has woken up", they can't even let themselves give a news presenter an unbiased line. The thing a news reporter would actually say in this situation would go something along the lines of "as a previously undiscovered nation has declared war".

If the sea devils live that deep then they could never survive coming to the surface. they would depressurize and die horribly.

We now return to "Disparu trying to retain his sanity..."

So...so many plot holes and logical missteps...,

1) Alien species can move millions of tons of waste across the distance of several miles all at once. Does not use ability to sensibly relocate waste that does not endanger the lives of other species causing catastrophic damage to not only humans, but every species living on land. The waste will also inevitably end up in rivers which will end up back in the oceans again, therefore the alien species did nothing more than throw a temper tantrum that resolved absolutely nothing.

2) Alien species can read minds. Alien leader does not bother reading the minds of those who arrive therefore causing the calamity which occurs on the ocean floor. Alien species can also control humans in order to prevent them from causing the alien species harm. Alien leader does not bother using this ability which would, likewise, have prevented the calamity occurring on the ocean floor.

3) Alien species can manufacture structures able to withstand the crushing depth at the bottom of the Marianas Trench. Alien species is somehow affected by human waste at a depth where such waste scarcely reaches.

4) Humans bring bomb to alien species in the guise of a gift. The humans were completely unaware of what they were going to encounter at the bottom of Marianas Trench. There would be no point in bringing such a device if the only things that would be affected would be the small number of aliens encountered at the very beginning. Bringing a bomb to a peace talk is likewise the height of stupidity - the alien species has proven to be able to relocate tons of waste, agitating them would only incur similar treatment so why was this even remotely considered.

5) "The air IS the ocean." Clearly the writers of this series had a problem with basic remedial science...otherwise they'd know about the different states of matter (liquid, solid, gas). Just because it rains doesn't mean the sky is liquid, pods of whales aren't coasting along the jet streams so I don't even remotely know how this inference could've been made. It would've made just as much "logical" sense to say 'the land is fire' because fire burns on land, not in the water, so...therefore, land is fire. If they were (probably unintentionally) inferring that 'everything is connected', then the alien species would also know that the land is connected to the oceans as well and would not have sought to reek havoc upon every single living species.

This "show" is nothing more than a child's fantasy devoid of logic and reason, a fitting end to the Doctor Who franchise.

The whole story is made meaningless the moment they give the sea devils magic teleportation abilities. If they can just make things move from the bottom of the ocean to dropping from the sky, why be so angry and threatening? Just teleport the trash to the sun, or deep space out of the earth's gravity well, problem solved. Its literally a win for both species, where's the conflict? Instead, they drop it all over the place to murder who knows how many people cause 'trash bad'. What amazing writing.

"We can be heroes" Just for one day, David Bowie... Fixed it

The scene with them training to go underwater in scuba gear when they CANNOT go into the water without dying is the most no-brain writing energy I've ever seen on television.

Really tired of Brits being ashamed of their ancestors conquering and civilizing the world. Good on you for being proud. This is from an American, speaking for our shared past
