This bus came into our shop with a pretty interesting history—and we think it may have once belonged to country music legend Waylon Jennings.

The new owner bought the bus and hadn't even owned it for a full day before the engine started giving him trouble. Now it has been towed more than 1,700 miles from South Dakota to our shop so we can figure out exactly what's going on.

Is the engine finished? Does this bus need a complete engine replacement? Or is there another problem causing the failure?

In this video, we start digging into the engine and working through the diagnostics to find out what we're dealing with.

This one has a little bit of everything: an interesting history, a brand-new owner, a 1,700-mile tow, and a potentially very expensive engine problem.
