In this video, I do a full walk-around with fellow YouTuber Steve  @StevesPlaceDownUnder to check out his incredible, privately owned classic truck collection.

Step back in time to the golden age of Australian trucking! We take a close look at a selection of LeTourneau scrapers and legendary rigs from Kenworth, International, Volvo, Ford, and White. Steve shares the inside stories behind his fleet and the painstaking restoration process required to bring them back to life.

We are diving  into the history of these classic workhorses—including the full backstory of the legendary "Grey Ghost" cab-over featured in our thumbnail. These fast, raw-power express rigs pushed boundaries across Australia in the 1970s and '80s. Operating in the dead of night to meet tight deadlines, these silver-grey trucks seamlessly blended into the darkness, appearing out of nowhere like ghosts. They dominated the gruelling Hume Highway connecting Sydney and Melbourne, as well as freight routes up to Brisbane.

Huge thanks to Steve for opening up his property and sharing the history of these  machines with us. If you love seeing classic Kenworth history and classic diesel power brought back to life, drop a comment below and let us know your favourite rig from the tour!

Thanks for watching.
