Nero is probably my favourite character to play as in this series. İn 4, he is limited, but I will never forget the moments in gameplay where he "Slam dunks" fodder enemies. My favourite has to be where he suplexes Alto Angelo and dropkicks him right after. He's the definition of venting your frustration against someone you hate.

DMC seems to be the series that always leaves you wanting more. I suppose if DMC5 really is the end then it's a good note to end on but I really really want DMC6.

The core of Nero’s rage being that he actually cares is fantastic characterisation, it’s definitely where his principles come from. Much like with Raiden in MGS2, I didn’t hate Nero at all despite the protagonist switch, and both try their best to play the harsh cards of life they’ve been dealt. I would be very content to see Nero (or a successor directly tied to him) back in the protagonist seat for a hypothetical DMC6.

Fantastic video analysis Durantes! (Man, I felt that church comment hard as an ex-Mormon myself. Good job!)

I'd say that Nero is more Vergil than Sparda or Dante actually. Sparda was described as cool and calm, and while both Nero and Vergil do try to keep a stern face they both fail at it to an extent. However, Nero is what would happen if Vergil actually had a family, if Vergil was loved, if he did not lose his way. He's similar to Dante because Vergil's similar to Dante as well.

Nero was brought up to be a new character, Maybe a replacement, but not a new Dante. I believe the DMC team did a great job making him stand out among the two. They certainly did better than Bayonetta did with Viola, given the similarities with the two series. DMC6 still has a story to tell with all three characters and I hope they do without it just being more chances for DLC.
Virgil is Savage.
Nero shows his Sick skills.
Dante has a Smoking Sexy Style.

you know what we need now?
a Game with Sparda himself.
the tale and Journey about how he turned good, and why he betrayed Mondos and all of the underworld basically.

I do like the fact that protection factors into the Sparda power. Not just that, but to also fight for your beliefs as a warrior too. He was called the Dark Knight. He has both motive and power to uphold his justice and to protect what he deemed worthy of it. And funny enough, Nero found what the twins didn’t that Sparda did. Love from a significant other.

Now I want this guy to talk about RvB and how awesome it is

How do i give you money

Yo Bro please make a Video on Mundus because He’s The True Villain of Devil May Cry!

Nero in DMC 5 really blossomed for me. One part is that the character model of him is so easy to the eye, and express his personality strongly, compared to his look of DMC 4, looking like another young version of Dante, I love his new hair as well, make him young and spunky.

But also he clearly more mature in relationships than his pop and unc, he basically told them to stop fighting and just sit their ass down and talk. He also dont hide his feeling like his father/ uncle with humor or stoicism. He tell it how it is. He want to protect his newfound family instead of being hung up by some abandonment issues. Showing that he is really kind, very gentle and introspective. I normally hate “ passing the torch “ character, I found them just a shoe horn so that the creator/ IP owner can continue milking a franchise. But Nero is one of those few exceptions for me, the is the future of DMC as much for me viewed Terry McGinnis as Batman as much as Bruce Wayne

New video yay

Oh stop acting like a Stormin' Mormon.
Without Mormons, there'd be no Joshua Graham. That'd be a fucking Greek tragedy. For us, the *people*. Joshua's Tuesday at the Hoover Dam makes Oedipus' prophecy seem like the set-up to a really raunchy joke.

its not actually vergils devil trigger its Neros dmc5 one in spectral form look at the face
