This is absolutely horrific. How this woman is still standing & doing so well is a miracle.  Rest in Peace to her little sister.

I wasn't expecting to be shocked by the depth of this story..  What a resilient and strong woman.  I don't even have the words......  You are helping so many people with your story and how you survived it, and are now thriving.  Thank you

Jessica, you are an AMAZING woman! Thank you so much for sharing your story. This truly helps all survivors of abuse.

Eligible for parole and still able bodied enough to harm the community???? That’s not justice!!!

Thank God for that Teacher! And this man! She appreciates them! Need more people like this in this world ❤

Thank goodness for the teacher that listened to her!

I understand, intellectually, that there are people (even parents) who can be downright evil to their own children but what these girls endured is way past evil. I just cannot wrap my head around the level of torture carried out over such a long, escalation of time! It's really very scary that there's people among us that are capable of these things. I'm so glad that one made it out and has found her voice! The poor little girl that didn't make it is a tragedy and never deserved any of that- neither of them did. She will be in my prayers, actually both of them. It's not my place but I can't help but wish those monsters will never get out of prison! They disgust me. Stay strong and I hope you enjoy everyday of the rest of your life. You deserve peace, safety and love 💕

OHHH MY GOODNESS...I was raised in Elk Grove. I went to Joseph Kerr at the same time  Jessica did. I can't believe that I was unaware of this until now. My heart hurts for you Jessica and Alexia and the tragic situation you two went through. I pray you find the peace that you deserve. RIP Alexia

God continue to strengthen and protect Jess and her family as they continue on the path of survival. Bless also the Teacher who carried her forward with love and understanding and brought her plight to notice. ❤🙏❤

Bless you Jessica, you're quite the woman!!

This lady has gone through such evil buy her perants and lost her beautiful baby sister 😢 💔 it's a miracle she survived her self . She truly is a remarkable person ❤️ 💗

Your youngest daughter looks like your sister would have done if she hadn't been unalived by evil I'm so sorry for your loss but I'm proud of you and your accomplishments in your life and I don't even know you sending big HUGS to your family from mine in the UK 🇬🇧

That evil mother got a lousy 15 years to life 🤬

I’m so sorry Jessica😢
I see that her book is available on Amazon. I remember back in the 80’s they would find bodies and parts along the delta. Now I live on the rivers edge and one can’t help but think of all of the tragedies that ended up in these waters and river banks. Many prayers for you, Andrew, and Alexia RIP 🙏🏻🙏🏻🙏🏻

Thank god as a teacher you helped her there are so many cases where they dont

Judge gave the stepdad 40 years for accomplice to murder and child abuse, and the mother got 15 years for directly committing the crime?

GOD BLESS YOU SO MUCH, WHAT A STRONG WOMAN. YOU ARE SPECIAL.

The teacher saved her life!  Thank you Miss Cooper you are a hero ❤

So sad , I  moved to Elk Grove last year and had no idea about what took place in this city.  I hope that Jessica is healing in some ways :(

Excellent police work!  Bravo to the detective he deserves a medal ❤
