I think anyone who kills a child. It is a automatic Death Penalty.

What kind of professionals think 10 year old girls run away from home unless they grow up in a drug den or with extremely abusive parents.

Katie's dad is so dignified in the face of this awful tragedy. I wish her family a life of good health, joy and happy memories until they are reunited with their beautiful daughter. ❤❤❤

The monster is also a coward. His wife should be indicted for lying to the police and harboring a murderer.

It doesn't matter if it was a runaway it's a 10yr old and should execute the same urgency as any missing child

Imagine my reaction when I see my Goddaughter’s face on YouTube. I was slammed back in time with the raw emotions all over again. Katie was an amazing girl who is greatly missed & we still have a hole in our hearts.

The law enforcement that seems to think children run away, is ridiculous! I know there are runaways but listen to the parents, they know their kids.

The father breaks my heart. So well spoken and thoughtful.

This case still haunts me. I'm from the area. She was only a few years younger than me and such a sweet girl....

My heart breaks for her Family, I hope some way you will find peace 💔

The man that said he thought she ran away should be regulated to traffic enforcement, 10 year olds rarely runaway unless they have grown up in and out of foster care or an abusive home.
His unsubstantiated assumption and seemingly unwillingness to do a basic investigation caused loss of valuable time.
Edit for typo
2nd edit for all: @5:54 journalist says possible runaway. @10:43 the county prosecutor said he initially thought she was a runaway. Journalists are provided information via the police department and the district attorneys.

I hate when they always say a child is a runaway you always have to take this seriously not just throw it on she's a runaway or he's a runaway

Rest in peace Katie 🩷😥🙏

I bet that sick SOB wishes that he got the death penalty. A private cell looks pretty good after you spend a few days in Gen Pop as a child rapist/killer! Even hardened criminals don't tolerate those bastards. 🤬

I can't imagine how horrifically guilty her mom felt every day since she since her to the store. I'm sure it's eaten her alive 😞

To s a a ten year old child is so evil and disgusting 🤮 but then to tie her hands behind her back throw her in water to drown with no way to use her hands . So evil and cruel. A special place in hell for that man

That runaway excuse makes my blood boil. Even if the kid is indeed a runaway, they still need to be found! They are a kid, vulnerable and easy pray for predators!
