CORRECTIONS:
- The games do not in fact take place in the early 19th century like I stated
- RDR1 did not release in 2011, but was instead released in May of 2010
- RDR1 is set in 1911, the epilogue of the game takes place in 1914
Very sorry for the incorrect info! It's incredible what can slip by the goalie when you are focused on a project for so long. Regardless, thank you all so much for the support!

Agnes’s voice actress is phenomenal. Such a minor role, but hearing her in the swamp at night in-game sent chills down my spine.

Arthur saying to the vampire, "you're a goddamn idiot" is a great moment in the game.

The serial killer side mission of RDR2 was eerie and creepy as hell in of itself for something that was so short, just being on your way to a mission and all of a sudden you see organs and a trail of blood in the middle of nowhere, music suddenly goes silent, you follow it and the camera pans to a mangled body. I loved that side mission

Other notable facts about the vampire:
- he will always kill Arthur in 1 hit no matter what
- his knife strongly resembles a pugio, a dagger used by the Roman military
So he might be REALLY old

The woman who did the voice for the swamp ghost knocked it out of the park, honestly the entire RDR2 voice cast were flawless

Frontier horror is some of the best.

People entering into a new land that they don't know the history of or what they will find with only the gossip of third party sources to guide them.

Im sorry but the Swamp ghost's voice acting when she says "DADDY! DADDY PUT DOWN THE GUN!" is quite possibly the rawest voice acting Ive ever heard in my life. Bravo, hats off to that woman because that shit is chilling to hear.

The mountain giant skeleton might actually be a reference to Paul Bunyan, which would explain the ox skull that lays near him.

The cut content on RDR2 drives me insane. So much was set up for nothing. The missing princess, the girl locked in the house, the devils cave the FUCKING devils star in the hillbilly settlement.

Arthur experienced aliens, killing a vampire, seeing a ghost, helping a time traveler, finding the body of a sasquatch, a ghost train, and the strange man. Ain't no way that guy didn't die happy.

Addons to your corrections.

You forgot the Werewolf Man in the Grizzlies who if you spot him can be seen through binoculars eating a rabbit alongside a pack of wolves.

The Native American Monument where you can actually anger the gods for a guarenteed death by direct lightning strike.

There's a spot in one of the woods somewhere with some kind of demonic monument and if you place a fully rotted carcass down it actually starts regenerating very slowly.

You can find an actual Witches Cauldron in one of the shacks in Ambarino.

You can even find Man-Bear-Pig in one of the houses in Lemoyne.

There's unironically a specific supernatural element in every section of the map.

Which is why the lack of Undead Nightmare 2 is not only highly disappointing but damn near feels unintentional.

Like it was SUPPOSED to happen by now.

I always assumed that The Strange Man was Death, the Grim Reaper. He was often depicted in the Wild West as a Gentleman in a black suit with a big mustache and a Top Hat.

I think The Strange Man is Death himself. Similar to Mark Twains depiction of Death in his book The Mysterious Stranger. He is always around death and dying people, including the story between The Strange Man and the bartender in Armadillo, who is the sole survivor of the Cholera outbreak. He got what he wished for, and The Strange Man was there to oversee the mass death. That's why when he tells John he knows him from all over the place, it's because he's killed so many people along with the rest of the gang, that Death has known him a long time.

"Damn you"
"Yes, many have"
What an awesome line, sends shivers down my spine

i saw the ghostly woman in the swamp and the ghost train while i was still in the swamp in the same night in red dead 2. i thought i was being fucked with because of how many ghostly events were happening to me by complete accident

I remember my first encounter with Nightfolk. Immediately thought they were zombies trying to jump me, but I realized those psychos are in fact living people. Scared the shit out of me, they legit frightened me and almost succeeded in their ambush. I'm glad I was too cautious to ever meet them again. Sure as hell felt supernatural to me.

I like to think that the Saint Denis vampire is just an insane LARPing fan of then-contemporary novel Dracula, published two years before the time of the game

The girl who voiced Agnes had such a raw performance for such a minor character. It's honestly insane how talented she is. When I was riding through Bluewater Marsh, I heard her and it shook me up because at the time I had no idea what was going on.

Turns out if you kill the pig farm brother and then let the sister kill you twice, when you respawn and come back again, she asks "how do you keep coming back".

Turns out Arthur Morgan canonically can respawn, until the plot decides hes dead because of TB.
