That strap you said is for wrapping it.. I think you'll find it is a tensioning strap for across the base of the bivvy matey.. check for fasteners inside on both sides

Good honest revue . Ignore the "I've got one better and cheaper' and 'you're doing it wrong' .You have taken the time and effort to brilliantly show the shelter you bought . As  for suggesting how you can make your videos better , well , I find your down to earth and honest presentation most refreshing .Well done . You're a natural .

i have the day shelter version of this as i fish days only and it insane, its basically the same thing with out the door and ground sheet however the Velcro is there for a ground sheet, funny thing is i was using the day shelter today came home opened youtube and it recommended this lol

Good review Carl, I think it might wrap up tighter and easier if you turn it upside down after collapsing it. 👍👍

Carl, great video, again as someone else said the strap you said that is for wrapping up is a tension strap for the front at the base. The clips go in each corner across the front to stop the bivvy spreading too wide and hold its shape

reminds me of one that tf gear used to make, but i never really used it

Love your videos Carl, surprised more companies haven't asked you to review stuff with the amount of people who support your chanel.
Gave you a hype 👍

Well done pal another great step forward on the channel with the underwater camera company enjoy your holiday

Damn that’s fast!!

Nice one pal ,cheers for that 🙌

That long strap mate is a tension strap for the bivvy it pulls all the poles tight and make sthe bivvy taller you attach it to the front two corners of the bivvy where the poles meet

As the comments say that strap is a tension strap keeps the shape and tension on material

Nice vid mate and yes you can get the skull cap for this

It’s a good camera I’ve got one also

its basically a TF gear force 8 bivvy from 20 years ago

Great day shelter. You took the tension strap off yes it keeps everything neat when packing down it stops the front of the bivvy spreading to far apart

I bought a Westlake shelter years ago for £40 and still going strong, almost exactly the same design. Ok for light rain and wind.

Good review. Just to let you know the strap that you said was to wrap up the bivvy is also the tension strap. it clips in on the front two struts. I noticed the rings on the inside when you were doing the review. It makes the bivvy the correct size so the groundsheet will fit properly. You can use it, peg down and then remove it or leave it on.

Great vid bud, ive been looking at  a cheap bivvy and I think that will be the one

I have a Korum shelter and overwrap that I bought 20 years ago. It's still going strong. The only fault I can see with this is it let's too much light in.
I will probably give my old one away and buy tge new one for speed and ease of use.
Some lucky carp beginner will be getting a free bivvy. 😂
