This video was just great!! Now I’m starting to realize that the game is not only about scoring its way more than that… and Larry Bird wasn’t in fact just a scorer but he did it ALL

Hope you enjoy :)

Something noteworthy. Larry Bird beat Michael Jordan and Scottie Pippen when Michael Jordan was in his prime, and Larry Bird had just returned from surgery on both feet, and sustaining damage from a broken back.

I grew up watching Bird in the 80's and I'm the biggest lBird fan there is but I keep it real and can say Bird is my favorite player of all time but ive got Jordan and Bird as my goats with Kobe, magic,Dr J and Kareem right after

That was Michael Cooper talking, not James Worthy

He literally said, in a league with MJ, Magic, Kareem, etc... yes, they were all around when he won Back to Back to Back MVPs

Larry had some of hte most legendary players in probably the entire NBA has ever seen, and dominated.

Yes. He just specifically said that the league with Michael Jordan, Magic Johnson, Kareem, Abdul-Jabbar, Charles Barkley, and all the others he listed were indeed in the league when Larry Bird won three MVP awards back to back to back. Not really sure why you were asking if Michael Jordan was in the league at the time…

When Larry Bird was on the court for the Celtics (he played 13 years, all for the Celtics) the Boston Celtics never had a losing month of basketball. That in itself is an amazing statistic.

Larry in his rookie year turned around an absolutely terrible celtics team into winners by himself. He didn't need 5 to 10 years like the excuse everyone uses for Jordan.

I think Larry Bird was the greatest all around basketball player of all time.

13:00 we can play the what if game too, what if Bird never got injured? You telling me Michael gets all six of those rings? Bird retired when Jordan was a 2x champion. If Bird got to play at his full powers until he was 40, we'd be looking at a very different conversation.
