NBA legends have said it. Players who actually competed against him have said it. Larry Bird was THAT good. 🐐🔥

In this reaction, I dive into what made Bird so dominant—his elite basketball IQ, shooting, passing, confidence, competitiveness, and ability to make everyone around him better.

As someone from Gen Z who didn’t get to watch Larry Bird live, going back and hearing NBA legends talk about his greatness has completely changed the way I look at his career.

Was Larry Bird really the No. 1 player of his era? 👀🏀

Let me know where you rank Larry Bird all-time in the comments!

🙏🏾 Stay until the end for the prayer.

In 1986, Bird got his team to be the best of all time. I still haven't seen a team that could match the Celtics 1986 team

His smile went away as soon as they mentioned Larry.

Not a joke to the legends.

But we also gotta remember, Larry Bird and Magic Johnson. Their lives and stories are entertained. You can’t have one without the other those two saved NBA.

You can't name another player that had as much skill in so many area's, Bird is the best all around player to ever play.

If I had to choose a player to take a shot to save a game, I’d choose Michael Jordan. If I had to choose a player to take a shot to save my life, I’d take Larry Bird.’ - Pat Riley

He was truly one of a kind. Love MJ, Magic, Barkley, and every single player that was on the dream team. To me, all the men on that team are the greatest of all time, no argument. But when all those guys say the same thing, that Larry was and still is the goat, people should listen.

Dude, I watched Larry in college and saw his whole career because I live in Massachusetts! You have no idea how good he was!

It's tough to find any videos of older NBA players or even today where they can't refer to Larry Bird without calling him a whiteboy.
Everyone ignores the subtle racism. That's also why people have a problem with Bird being in the GOAT conversion.

Every player will look amazing or good on a highlight video. Bird on the on the other hand, has the championships, records and stats to prove his greatestness.

THIS MAN HAS BEEN TOUTED AS THE VERY BEST SINCE HIS COLLEGE DAYS .... since his PRO beginning with Boston Celtics .... his numbers, his play, all around performance in ALL SKILLS of the game plus HUSTLE, DNA, WILL & ESPECIALLY PASSING, CLUTCH SHOOTING .... there is no argument ! Look at who* SAYS HE WAS BETTER .... the best Black Players who knew him in play. jj

Say Hey TL-I enjoyed your reaction. I saw Larry and the Cs many times at Boston Garden. Larry played with an intensity that still burns in the memory of all time greats. AND, on top of all else, he was funny. And, in addition to his 3 straight MVPs, he finished 2nd in MVP votes 4 times.

The 90-min HBO documentary "Magic vs Bird: A Courtship of Rivals" (paraphrased) is a must-see program if you really want to get to know both men. If you were going to build an NBA team, start with those two and you're already in the playoffs. So much respect (now) for each of them.

LaBron needs to come out of any discussion about great basketball

Ewing could have randomly called Bird right then and there and would have gotten trashed talked!

I grew up watching Larry Bird. My question is how would Larry Bird if he played basketball in his prime today? How would he feel and deal with all the floppy that happens with today’s basketball. we gotta remember Larry Bird played hurt.
