the most unrealistic thing about paranoid paranormals is that the cameraman was actually given credit

The only thing the 'paranormal paranoids' were missing was a big dog eating scooby snacks and a green van

> Thing is pounding on the door trying to kill her
> She immediately proceeds to open the door to check it out
Hm seems legit

Honestly they completely nailed that early YouTube feel. Riley is actually a great actress and embodies that slightly awkward yet totally endearing YouTube host persona

"What was that? Let's find out."
Laura: "No."

IMMMEDIATELY felt that

People really out here upset because a group of young adults didn't actually get murdered and it's just a project people made for fun.

Everyone: seems like an arg, idk 👁👄👁
Reign: literally opens the video saying she’s touching on a new arg

Her overriding fear was of being trapped, and her last words are "Let me out, let me out!!"
Doesn't matter that this is staged, that was well done, and gave me chills.

The rarity of a reignbot episode thats over 15 mins lol

peter, riley, laura, and david all together look like an indie band

I know a lot of the comments are nitpicky but imo this is a really neat arg. The replication of early YouTube aesthetics, while not perfect, is very entertaining and it seems like the makers had a lot of fun

Returning after all these years to rewatch because later on I'm off to see the Shelby Oaks film...!

update: it was not a Good Film but it was a Fun Film :')

I always want to believe, even though I know it's fake, but man, those fake ass video glitches always take me right out of the immersion.

@filmskoolfulci9183 5 years ago

Real talk though, that Paranormal Paranoids intro song is a legit banger.

@rileywarren9378 5 years ago

Really immersive for an arg set a few years back, but the only thing that caught me off guard was the well edited intro lol no one on YouTube in 2008 would’ve uploaded something so crisp like that

Man I genuinely can’t get over this 😭😭😭 I LOVED this unfiction/arg when it came out and when I heard about the movie i was so excited only for that movie to be ABYSMALLY bad. 4 years just for a lackluster film about an evil sex offending demon. (LITERALLY.)

That opening theme still has better production values than anything I've ever made.

That “Riley’s Last Message” video was better than the entirety of the Paranormal Activity franchise

ARG is kinda like WWE/professional wrestling. Some people enjoy it and pretend it's real even though they know it's fake. And some people hate it because it's fake.

I haven't seen anyone bring this up yet so: David seems to focus pretty hard on Riley. The camera pans to her whenever there's nothing interesting going on. Being the cameraman, it would make sense he'd have footage and maybe even pieces of art made by Riley in his possession.
