I will note that the animal sounds? Coyote packs make those noises when they've caught a meal. It didn't simply increase in volume, but in numbers. It sounded as though there were hundreds of coyotes.

Every group of ghost hunters:
At the start: “Yeah! Let’s go catch a ghost!”
Catches a ghost: “I don’t wanna do this anymore, it’s too scary,”

Okay, am I seriously the only one who couldn’t see anything in the window? Hearing NM talk about clearly seeing a skull and horns made me feel like I was going crazy when I couldn’t see anything at all.

Anyone else coming back and rewatching after the Shelby Oaks trailer?

NM: "You can clearly see the creature in the shadow in the window"
Me, being colorblind: "Sure fam!"

I like the use of Peter's character, you can tell he goes from supportive to pushy quickly when he thinks he's right and he talks over her consistently when he pushes her. He even twists her apprehensions around, it's a good use of a manipulative character that isn't portrayed as cartoon villain stuff. He's a dick, but not an unrealistic one.

I love it when ARGs handle the question of "wait how did this get uploaded?" within the narrative of the story. The concept of No1r busting out Windows Movie Maker to jazz up the final vlog before cryptically emailing it to Jess also makes me pleased as punch.

N01R^+ seems code for Number 1 Riley Fan/Follower. At least, that's how it seems from his obsession over Riley. And David seems pretty fond of Riley too. Being the cameraman, he would be in possession of much of the footage.

Riley is one of the few people in horror media that actually goes out of her way to find a decent item they can use to defend themselves with. The knife is still pretty small, but it could be worse.

the freeze frame on the ghoul just before he slams the door while the jazzy music plays will never not make me laugh.

I won't lie, this is some of the best acting I've seen for one of these ARG's so far. The delivery is believable, the emotions are grounded. Mad props to all of the actors in this series. What a gem!

My bet is that she is crying out Mia because the thing attacking her USED TO BE MIA. That is the only logical reason i can think of shouting out a name of someone while being attacked, if they werent there with you beforehand.

>Be me, Janitor.
>Work night shift to keep school in compliance.
>Draining work, but rewarding.
>Hear noise, voices?
>God damn vandals are back at it
>Catch the bastards by cool-aid manning through a door
>They all shriek and run
>Go unclog the toilet on floor 2

I have a theory that Mia is actually a spirit/entity that Riley has grown up with and that the others don't actually know her, Riley just plays it off as her sister. Either Riley is calling out for Mia to help her in the end, or maybe Mia was 'corrupted' by the stuff they were messing with. :thinking:

Plot twist: Horned dude turns out to be Baphomet who has a holiday home nearby and came by to make sure everything was alright. Just because you're a demon lord doesn't mean you can't be a good neighbor.

Anyone else unironically love Paranormal Paranoids intro song? Reminds me of something you would hear on old 50's sitcoms like the Munsters.

@sidlaux8660 5 years ago

The part where Peter was interrogating Riley annoyed the fuck out of me lol

@sadielappin8862 5 years ago

I love how much of their evidence, especially early on, is the kind of thing that could be explained— vague shapes, claiming to feel cold, etc. It makes it way easier to buy into the idea of them as actual real-life ghost hunters instead of actors when they’re producing some genuinely mediocre and dismissible “evidence” amongst the story-related scares.
