You have the god given right to decide for yourself. If someone else wants to make rules and decide for you, and you listen, and it pans out to not work well for you, they are responsible for you. God will decide about them. Who wants the burden of deciding wrong for others? Not me. Tell them to back off. You have to do what works for you. If you make a wrong decision, learn from it. It's usually not the end of the world.
Hi there Chase, im a new subscriber. I'm on the other side of the island in WA (Western Australia, where the Quokkas live on Rottnest Island), and I'm a 60yr old Nanna, who wants to let you in on a little secret about us Aussies, just to save you time working this one out. Yes, absolutely we Aussies share our opinions on every topic imaginable, but we don't expect you to put that opinion into practice, you never have to agree, ever. We don't judge anyone for their choice's in life, because we all have different dreams and abilities. You just need to acknowledge that you heard it, and then make up your own mind about what's right for you. We're just sharing, in case it's a perspective that you hadn't thought about. I can assure you that along your journey, you'll find everyone will support you, encourage you and wish you all the best in achieving it, regardless of what your end goals are. We believe in respecting that every single one of us has our own hopes and dreams, and we believe that everyone deserves to have a great shot at achieving that dream. We're into supporting each other, and helping each other reach their highest star. We keep each other grounded, so as to avoid the 'tall poppy syndrome' if possible, from taking a hold (if you don't know what tall poppy syndrome is, please google it hon). So don't ever be nervous or afraid about talking with Aussies about anything at all, or asking for a bit of help or guidance ok, we're here to help each other along our own journeys in this wonderful life. You're doing great hon, you're doing yourself and your family proud, well done and keep enjoying your ride girl, because your journey has barely begun 🤗👏👏👏 And welcome to Australia, I wish for only great things for you on your journey
Australia, you work to live NOT live to work. Having a work/life balance is very important, allows you to grow as a person.... learn to go with the flow.... Seems you are getting it.
In Australia we have a lot of organisations that other countries don't have, that help people ( plus we're like Canooks) and Aussies will hp you, but be careful there's bad people everywhere .eg : A serial killer has been at BYRON BAY for many years. DO RESEARCH IN SOME AREAS. eg: Central Queensland.
