What 12 Months in Australia Actually Did to Me

After 12 months in Australia, I realised something that completely changed how I see this whole move, and life to be honest.

It wasn't the wildlife or the weather or even the coffee culture. It was the moment I realised my dream life had become so normal I almost missed it. And then my cousin arrived, and watching him feel what took me 6 months to understand, in one sunset, showed me something I needed to see.

This video is about that journey. About how quickly you can change without realising it. About showing up to a normal Sunday at Cooly and thinking "this is everything I wanted" while holding a beer and watching surfers. And yeah, there's sadness in it too. Because sunsets end, and time moves, and being aware of that is what makes being alive feel like a privilege.

If you're thinking about moving to Australia or making any big change, I put together a free guide that walks you through how to actually do it. Link below. But this video isn't about the logistics, it's about what happens when you get here.

Much Love,

Dan
