Look, if anyone who has moved to Australia can say they've embraced the culture, it's me (hellooo... my entire page is dedicated to talking about how much I love living here!). I've changed a lot, but there are also things I'm struggling with changing - and that's okay!

You can't change everything, because some habits make you who you are, and it wrong of people to expect it too.

Don't think all Aussies get up early in the morning! I spent decades getting up early for work each morning, the only way I survived it was by promising myself that when I retired I'd sleep in every day. Well, now I sleep in (almost) every day, particularly in winter, and it's bloody wonderful!

Melbourne Australia here. I'm a first generation Australian with European parents. During my teens I had trouble with my heritage. Customs and culture at home and the Aussie world outside. My father said to me what are you stressing about. You have two worlds just embrace the best of both worlds. That is what's magic about Australia is that you don't have to give up where you came from just embrace the world your in now. The best of both worlds.

Aussie here: I spent 30 years getting up before 6am, since I work from home now, I get up at 8:30. I've earnt my late starts

Lexie..you are a breath of fresh air to watch.💚As for walking with your son...it's ok..I enjoyed the walks with my kids and Grandkids....they never complained..ENJOY the moment..one day he may want to do it..Stalk him from just far enough behind for him to be alone.😂

I like that you are a blend of Cultures. That Is Australian. Point in case... the reason we have great coffee is the Italians, Greeks etc. brought the skill with them when moving here. ❤ And Galahs are the best ! Love them❤❤❤ Blend in Lex but never change the wonderful person you are 🥰

40kmh speed limit in school zones. Because there are lots of parents walking their kids to school, there are plenty of adults keeping an eye out for those kids who are flying solo.
