Just threw this together quickly as a little companion piece to my previous video... since ubisoft loves to move the goal posts on me right after upload.

Also, towards the end I said "long after" and I meant to say "since long before" but  we are all just going to have to live with it atp

Dang is Ubisoft actually locking in for once

Im glad that ubi is actually fixing the floatiness and the stop and go from horizontal parkour

Never sell out. Your heart is in the right place. Please take care of yourself--and I hope you won't get any jet lag!

insane refresh pull

From Mirage's launch to this... parkour is being fixed one step at a time.

So they fixed the only thing that really bothered me in the first showcases of the game. Gosh, how the hell did Ubisoft make me go from "I literally couldn't care less about this remake, or any new Ubisoft releases" to "we're so fucking back" in less than a month? Black Flag was my bread, butter, knife and plate for my entire pre-adolescence and it feels so healing to see a remake that actually seems to be making justice and improvements.

Black flag resynced looks the way black flag felt like it looked.

If that makes any sense.

Just saw the reddit post detailing it, and thought "Damn...Wish that parkour fella had seen this" lol

I'm so glad the sound design is still as good as the original. My biggest issue with mirages parkour was the bad sound design during parkour, but this one is perfect.

im so fucking excited dude

Now all we need is hidden blade combat back :(

1:26 the manual jump from the building on the right looks so smooth and fantastic. When basim would do this it looked like he had two bowling balls tied around his feet

Something I think would significantly improve Resynced that I've heard nobody else mention is if they really add gravity - in the CAMERA. That's it. One of my favorite parts from bf is how when you make a jump or fall or anything, the camera reacts accordingly and it really helps with immersion. But now everything just feels so floaty. This'll probably get lost in the comments

Looks like the devs really watched all Kenway combat-parkour-stealth videos for reference. A lot of niche Kenway techs are here including the side eject-to-swing.

The only thing I wish they would bring back is the parkour animations from the kenway games

Connor and Edward had such cool animations when parkouring

What a time to be alive.

Congrats on 10K! And 11K for that matter. Up and up

Feels weird to be this excited for a Ubisoft game again

Assassin's Creed is in far from the ideal state, but it's nice to see there are people at Ubisoft that actually care and want to output something beyond bare minimum
