Correction: the intro shot at 3:39 has no green screen (a friend that saw the BTS in theaters told me after I posted). What gives away the ghosting and details i mention is most likely the painting effect and/or some VFX retouching they did. Thought I would correct that

Not me the entire time he was praising the director, I was like.. just wait until you see who the director is😂

You’re going to have to watch all too well short film and the behind the scenes, you’ll love her directing.

oh bro you have no idea the door you just opened .... there is no coming back from this 😁

Thanks, for pointing out all the technical stuff. I enjoyed hearing your comments from a professional point of view.

Kitty Finlay is the name of the fictional character of her song The Life of a Showgirl. Kitty comes from the name of her mom's great dane dog. And Finlay was her grandmother's last name.

Oh, if you're interested I can assure you we swifties will be here watching everything! We LOVE a professional reactor (as in a guitar player, a vocal coach, a director, anything like that) that talks about the technicality of the art.

Also, I think most of her MVs have behind the scenes. She's directed almost all of her videos for the past 6 years, so there's also that. She has such great MVs (especially the ones from the albums 1989 and Reputation), it'd be amazing if you could cover her! I know I'll be seated for it, definitely!

Thanks for the great video! Very interesting.

Taylor Swift is 5' 11", btw. So yes, she's very tall for a female.

In case anyone was wondering, the painting being so incredibly recreated is "Ophelia" by Friedrich Wilhelm Theodor Heyser. Genius. The set design is immaculate.

No green screens. She gave us behind the scenes of this mv on the movie she put out for opening weekend.

That's what she always said she wanted for her videos. She puts a lot of efford in them, especially with the easter eggs, she said there are over 100 in this video. But she also wants her videos to be for people who are not into the easter egg thing to be enjoyable. She leaves it up to you, if you are into that stuff or not.

Dude she is the director.   She writes her music      She directs and writes her videos.     Her music runs the table from country, pop, folk , rock, indie folk , poetry        Her songwriting propels it all.      This showcases  showgirls from history   From when they modeled for paintings to 1940s.  1960s,1980s.  Ophelia is from Hamlet and was betrayed and drowned.    Taylor is saying her finance s love saved her from Ophelia’s fate  of melancholy.

The last couple of years she has written and directed all her film clips including a short film to her song All To Well (10 min version) which you could look in to.

Sequins are forever is a line from the title song ✨

The bird is an American singer canary 🐦

You’re in for quite an enjoyable ride!  I’m happy to be here at the beginning of your journey!

First time your channel has come across my feed & I really loved your insight on the technical aspects.

Taylor is a wonderful W&D. I'm always blown away at all she does & how WELL she does it all. 😮‍💨

I'll never forget one editor that's reacted to her videos saying, "I'm waiting for the day it says EDITED by Taylor Swift".

Excited for you & your new Swiftie journey! We'll definitely be here waiting to see what you have to share! 🫶🏼

Her video "The Man" is full of surprises. She directed most of her music videos, PAID for them but did not OWN them until she bought her Masters! Looking forward to more reactions 😊

i love your vibes man super chill

14:11 Oh yeah, she must have had fun with this - the reason why this also runs soooo smoothely is that all these people are her background singers and dancers from the Eras Tour. For us as more seasoned Swifties this is just such a wonderful touch!

She talked about the video shoot on Seth Meyers. Every scene or vignette is a singer take with one cut in between each set up. They did 3 weeks of rehearsal with all of the performers and the camera operator to get all of the movements correct. They shot with practical, custom-built sets on a soundstage as well as on location at a Los Angeles theater
