When I was a kid everything was written by adults. Now in my 40s, everything is written by kids 😅

Children in adult bodies. Pretty much describes modern times perfectly.

The character of Apone in Aliens was an actual Marine who served in Vietnam.  They did that a lot in the 80's and it worked great(Jesse Ventura, R. Lee Ermey, etc.)

In space, no one can hear you cringe.

Ironically, Newt in Aliens acted more adult, more appropriate and had way better dialogue and delivery than any of these adults pretending to be kids - oh yeah, and she wasn't even an actor.

I root for the xenomorphs now.

Plot wise it feels like Anime does Alien what with children piloting adult bodies and Wendy doing her best Alita: Battle Angel haircut and mounted blade action. Meanwhile the 'perfect organism' has been turned into Michael Myers and please...please.....call it an 'Opti-pus'.

Remember the precaution & professionalism in the intro of Aliens when a search and rescue team finds Ripley? Compare that to these guys.

And I thought the characters in Alien Covenant were the dumbest dingbats in the Alien universe, but no...

outside of the weirdness relating to "a bunch of kids getting taken to a island by a rich trillionaire" it was truly wild to hear a middle age tech nerd telling a 12 year old girl that he has a low sperm count.

The large black lady with the pink dreads has so much hair that her helmet doesn't sit on her head right and has the strap in a weird position. You see it on the stairs scene.

They'd have been better off sending in 1,000 Working Joes. The alien just ignores them while they search. 😂

Imagine this: instead of annoying children, they had taken 5 of the toughest, coolest, die hard space marines, that were wounded in battle (one is in a wheelchair, one lost his eyesight, one lost an arm) and put their consciencesness in stronger, faster, nearly indestructible Android bodies that get ignored by the Aliens first. And they just start slashing through xenomorphs. Till the xenos learn that those Androids are now a threat and a real heavy fight Breaks Out.
Doesnt that sound a million times better than this garbage?

Thank you for addressing the ‘main character toss’ lol…. In a lot of movies the creature shreds everyone, but the main character always gets tossed or thrown into a wall for phase only lol

I love how the ship crashes and the objects remain on the tables.
I love the radiotherapy of 2120, it respects eyebrows and eyelashes.
I love that they talk a lot about things that are of no interest whatsoever.
I love the actors, they are great.
