The man got fired from a job after 12 years. Regardless of how you feel about him as an analyst Anybody who held on a job that long has some kind of love for the job and guess what people that s*** hurts.

Not mad he cried, mad he cried on camera for the people who don't like him to see

The lesson here is don't compromise yourself for a job. That's just a recipe for selfl disappointment.

Dear Mr. Newton,
I really enjoy your show! I’m a 72-year-old Auntie, and honestly, you got me watching football again. 😂 I started paying attention when Coach Sanders took over at Colorado. Then, when all the controversy surrounding the younger Sanders started unfolding, I wanted to hear what a real, successful quarterback had to say.
So, I started listening to you—and you schooled me! I became a fan.
And yes, you’re a little “out there,” but that’s who you are. And I’ve always wondered: is somebody really being extra, or is everybody else just plain ole basic? 😂😂 I am extra, at 72 years old many wonder, 'what the hell she gonna do next?'
Thank you for being unapologetically YOU.
And I love Peggy, too!
But what really touched me was the way you spoke about the ESPN dismissals, especially the way you honored Ryan Clark—with such grace, class, and dignity. That meant something.
There is something beautiful about Black success recognizing and supporting Black success. Seeing a Black man genuinely support another Black man in a world where we so often witness the opposite is powerful.
So, from one Auntie who has been around long enough to recognize authenticity when she sees it—thank you for being real.
Keep doing what you do. Keep being “extra.” 😂
God bless you, Peggy, and the entire 4th & 1 family.

You can tell when someone has never put their entire life, family and career into a job. It hurts when you lose your financial security. RC is a man. Also, he has a family and financial responsibility.

Ryan Clark went from the NFL straight to ESPN. Went from one work family to another. Dont blame him one bit for crying cause he built some serious life long relations at ESPN.

Honestly, Shady reminds me of certain people who just hate on others downfall.

Cam toting that line. Def can't say he's scared about the sensitive topics. one of his best videos. Composed himself took time to think on camera and still kept it a stack

Everyone gets fired at some point. That's not the issue. It seems it was their intent to embarrass Ryan Clark on the way out.

It's adorable that a guy sitting in front of "top shelf" liquor for the purpose of looking a certain way is ranting about authenticity.
