I love it when Connor plays games like this and Fear & Hunger. The narration explaining the complex and hard-to-obtain lore is on point and something I could never figure out!

1:35:13 according to a Reddit user, (if anyone was curious), from Lady Grey’s pov tail represented the princess’s mother that passed away!

3:25:40 Connor thanking the devs while his face cam shows him flipping off is the full summary of his experience playing this game

Something cool about DIS, is in Dante's Inferno, Dis is a city in the middle layers of Hell where fallen angels reside. Meaning through a hole in the Earth (also like Dante's Inferno), Gray enters into hell, fights demons and enters one of its cities

I kinda see why she saw that as funny.
Despite that Lillie didn’t directly wish for her biological mom (whether or not she knew she was there), the fact that she wish for her mom, Gray, for peace indirectly means to free her actual mom as well.

havent played a second of this game, connor said its hard, did the only reasonable thing and gifted it to a friend of steam and said 'lets see if you can solve this kids puzzle game'

It has to be said that Connor's in the moment voice acting MAJORLY enhances the experience of watching these condensed playthroughs. He does such an amazing job bringing so many of these characters to life, he was made for making videos about these kind of games. I kinda wish he would play something like Ace Attorney, i know that hearing him give voices to some of the characters in that game would be a riot.

the whole "devotion" talk about being needed to stay down the void is very clearly metaphorical with the creator's intent of wishing to see people be devoted to understand each other. you, conner, showed your devotion by finishing this game because you wanted to understand the game. it's the meta parallelism.

and you being referred to as "stranger" is intentional. you're a stranger to the creator. we're stangers to each other, yet here you are, showing your devotion by finishing the game. devotion to understand it, undertand someone.

I didn't realize that WormGirl, someone who also did some really cool fear and hunger story videos, helped script this video. That's pretty cool

It should be noted, that while Connor listed all the following names here as "demons", there is one exception to that.

Add - Abaddon is treated as a demon in some interpretations of Christianity, however originally, it really was never a demon. Abaddon is an *angel*, a guardian of the abyss, he who brings destruction but still follows the will of God and torments everyone who opposes His will with a swarm of locusts.

If you watch the video to the end, this will most certainly make a lot of sense.

1:32:37 for those who don't know that text says "Not to be covered" which is basically a joke about how Finnish radiators used to come with warnings not to cover them. In Sweden they found this hilarious and it became a big joke, basically "haha Finland so dumb they need a manual how to use a radiator".

I also guess the implication is that Grey died of breast cancer. At least I think it is why Lillie is seen wearing a pink ribbon.

So if you guys are curious what was censored 1:47:12 . Driven by curiosity I found that It's PrimaDonnas , which is a brand of high-end bras🙂

came here after eye patch wolf's video and that line about 2 people playing the exact same game but having completely different experiences hits harder lol

After Fear and hunger, this is some of my new favorite CDawg content. I just love to see him explore those mysterious games.

1:00:00 fun fact: here the chat manages to gaslight connor into thinking it's about him killing 2 woman, but it was in fact about the snake lady.
The punishment for this is that from here all instances of the sound effect heard when pushing the eggs are replaced with the bouncing sound effect heard when you interact with the snake lady (and as you can hear afterwards in the VOD, he did incur this punishment lol).

Two 3+ hour videos within 3 days has got to be some kind of record for this channel, we are eating good rn boys

I got to meet one of the devs at a convention in Finland recently. He was a really chill person enthusiastic about retro gaming & game development. He said that they all have appreciated the attention this video has generated in their games and the passion that Connor and his team put into creating this behemoth of a video.

Hats off for highlighting all of the crazy details the devs put into the game! Looking forward to seeing more videos such as these.

the fact that the video could only be cut down to 1/8th(?) of the vod length shows the depth and fuckery of this game. straight up insane.

47:05 - I cannot stress enough that, whilst this is the peak of the OST and is a beautiful track, it is singlehandedly one of the best "Bad Ending" conditions I have ever experienced. The realisation seeping in that there is no escape on any of the floors done through the gameplay itself and Gray's mental state deteriorating both audibly in the music and the visual layout of the Labyrinth is as chilling as it is dramatic. The moment I personally understood what was happening was just when the OST paused for a moment before crashing back in full tempo, with the levels themselves becoming complete gibberish. I was HYPERVENTILATING. Honestly, fucking incredible work.
