Enjoy!

I kind of wish we got more games and lore from the merethic to first era times.

I just want to give you an extra THANK YOU for making videos with your real voice. Recently I’ve had to skip so many lore videos that were just a bunch of robotic narration… you’re a real one 🙏

If only ES blades was a PC/Console game instead of a mobile game.
Still an interesting exploration of ancient Cyrodiil.

It's so great how after all these years you can still teach me something about the lore that I wasn't aware of.  Great video, as usual. Thank you for keeping ES lore alive!

A video on the Schism would be cool.

I'm a true fan of TES Blades and you cannot imagine how excited I am to see this video!

The story is pretty interesting for such a basic mobile game. I even think some of the lore they added was neat. Thanks for your work!

And now we know what was behind the events that lead to the Alessian rebellion and eventually the first human empire. Hope they explore this more in ES6.

After watching this .. it made me wonder if the big baddy from the Knights of the Nine dlc of Oblivion Umaril the Unfeathered was involved in this .. because his patron was Meridia after all .. and maybe the only Daedra worshipping Ayleid kingdom that would of joined the Aedra worshiper kingdoms in this war.

I just saw the community post you made you could make videos on anything and I’d watch

the "Light Bringer" title is just making me imagine a high elf Linkara  with an army of undead running at the player like that one gif

Perfect timing, I was just thinking about the Ayleids.

Thank you for bringing us lore this deep, I can’t imagine digging through all of this myself.

The perfect video to put on as background while I prepare dinner.

having a loregasm right now at the mere sight of this video~! I adore the Ayleids and find their history and culture to be… “enthrallingly” captivating!!!

Thanks again for yet another magnificent video, Mr. J. Skyrim !

I wonder if Celemaril Light Bringer's name was inspired by the Silmarils of J. R. R. Tolkien's mythopoeia, as the Silmarils were jewels made of pure light.

If only blades was a small Skyrim only giving you access to a part of cyrodil like the size of soulstheim

After playing the mod for Crusaders king 3 elder king 2 i came to appreciate and like much more the lost elven cultures and kingdom

In that mod you can play as ayleid survivors both from the aedra and deadra faction (respectivily exiled and hidden in black marsh and valenwood)
You can play as a direnni lord a bosmer an altmer or any Flavor of dunmer you like including cantemeric offshoot on the coast of black marsh

You can even play as a revived dwemer or falmer culture

I really feel the complete lack of any real info regarding the ayleid city states
We now nearly nothing of their history   And rulers and any bit of lore in this sense is priceless

Color me intrigued

Not sure why they chose something so close to "Silmaril" (yes they did) unless they wanted something foreboding. However, since  Feanor's masterpieces caused the downfall of the mightiest Divine Being in that world along with the destruction of a couple continents,  can't really say they are on the same level. 😆Silmarils, though not evil in themselves ,brought out the worst in anyone who did not have the purest motives. The "crown" in this sounds like an enchanted circlet which may not have been created with evil in mind,  since it's magic could bind a lich ,usually a holy magic.
